Ive even done bench 4x/wk but needed a deload 1-2wks way more often to get strength back so i just let strength fade for up to 2-3mo then after the deload im not as strong as id think but the bottom working sets go up(i also have a nasty shoulder injury).

If you already did starting strength you can do a half assed leg session every 1-3wks and theyll stay 1pl8 over bench for reps easily and you can do a ton of shoulder/chest etc hypertrophy which is what you wanna be doing alongside a powerlifting program to get best gains asap.>nuh uhYour liver only produces so much muscle through protein synthesis.
