>do calisthenics
>bulk
>the added weight is now more resistance for the muscles
explain why this wouldn't work.

cause u will fuck your shoulders :D

it does work, you just have diminishing returns.
ignore the jeet larp bot poster.
>>
>>76737555
why ? u get fatter and u lift more ad infinitum

what is diminishing the returns? is it
>>76737553
>fuck your shoulders :D
>>
>>76737570
The law of diminishing returns states that eventual exponential effort in all things is needed to maintain a linear progression.
This is applied to all factors in life and with enough time becomes true in all cases.

There is no ad infinitum with weightlifting, lifestyle, 24 hour limitations, genetics. Many factors play in here.
So while initially you can progress linear in correlation with your weight increase.
You will have to specialize eventually like any other muscle group once you reach the point where your body gives out.
It's entirely dependent on the person.
Some freak of nature might break this rule for a while, until the rule becomes absolute.
If memory serves current pullup 1rm is somewhere like 450lbs (added weight included).
And that person was already using accessory exercises to get to that point beyond their body weight.

It does work.
>>
>>76737633
are you referring to anabolic drugs addiction?
>>
starting strength includes pullups every second workout
you also gain weight rapidly on starting strength
>>
>>76737553
You don’t lift, stop posting:DDDDD
>>
>>76737532
>Lift weights
>Put more weight on the bar
>The added weight is now more resistance of the muscles

Explain why this wouldnt work
>>
Doesn't work because your strength grows much faster than the speed of gaining fat and muscles.
>>
>>76739260
Starting strength = 100 sets of squats and deadlifts per day.
>>
>>76737532
Pull ups are shit for back
there I said it
do rows
>>
>>76737532
because nattys arent going to gain enough muscle mass it make much a of difference.
Notice I said muscle and not fat which is what actually happens when /fit/ bulks
>>
>>76739417
there's no gimmick to profit off of :/
>>
>>76739590
that makes no difference the point is you weigh more it doesn't matter if it's muscle or fat
>>
>>76737532
You can do it but it'll fuck up your joints even more than usual calisthenics
Also you'd have to gain fat very very slowly since muscle takes a long long time to build
>>
>>76737532
is there any trick to increasing my pull up reps? right now I can only do 2-3 pull ups from lowest dead hang position, I've only been doing pull ups every 2nd day, am I supposed to spam pull ups sessions every single day and that'll work? im already losing weight trying to cut down to 70kg
>>
>>76741030
forgot to mention but after every session I do (3 sets of 2-3 rep pull ups) I spam negatives until I can't stop myself from falling hard once I jump up and grab the bar, idk if this is doing anything but I get that "pump" feeling in my forearms which is cool, didn't know it was possible outside of the gym lifting weights
>>
>>76741030
You are not allowed to do pull ups everyday. You are likely already doing them too often.
>>
>>76741030
I went from 1 to 4 in a month by just... doing pull-ups every session (three times a week)
The road from 0 to 1 was the hardest and involved tons of pulldowns
>>
>>76742300
Are you fat?
I was not fat and was able to do 2 chin ups without training for years.
>>
>>76742840
No, just comically weak before I started training. I went from 73kg to 80kg.
>>
Bulk doesn't work, you need backpack with concrete and iron.
>>
>>76740892
>fuck up your joints even more than usual calisthenics
So much less than power lifting.
