My "little" brother is morbidly obese. He's built like a 6'3 tank. I've been trying to get on his ass about losing some weight and hitting the gym, partially because he would be an absolute beast if he got in shape and partially because I don't want to go to his funeral when he dies of a heart attack in 5 years.

I can get on his ass about exercising and I have some idea of a workout plan that, even if not the greatest plan in the world, will still help him build muscle and lose fat. But I have no idea what to tell him to eat. I plugged his numbers into a basic online calorie calculator to get an idea of his calorie intake and it told me with his BMR anything lower than 3000 calories would constitute "extreme weight loss". He's obviously a lazy fuck so I worry if he was too hungry for too long he'd give up.

I don't know how to get him into eating better food when I can't even conceptualise one meal in a day bigger than 800 calories, let alone 3. Where the fuck do I even start? I was looking at online meal kits (obviously cooking your own food is better but, again, he's incredibly lazy) but he'd need to eat 4-5 of them per day to hit 3000 calories.

Never mind losing weight, diets and going to the gym, he probably doesn't want to hear about any of that.

Play into that, get him a set of dumbells, challenge him to a curlathon. Do this and he'll come around on his own.
