My health provider has a website where I can schedule checkups, meetings whatever, and I can choose the doctors from a list and you see their faces and other ratings (which are useless most of the time anyway). I've picked up good looking doctors several times (2 handsome dudes, one beautiful chick) because of the halo effect and figured they might be better, and they were honestly quite trash, got misdiagnosed, wasted a shitton of money and time. At other times I got scheduled by the call center girl to random doctors who were balding, or ugly middle-aged women and they immediately figured out my problems and the right treatment for them.I don't trust handsome doctors anymore. And I wouldn't hire handsome engineers or programmers for my company if I had one.
