Will this work?
I want to join a swimming pool and keep going to the gym.
In a week I would go:

My gym has a pool, what I like to do is do my usual workout and tack on a half hour or more of pool time, since the body's already got the ATP or whatever going (look it up idk) so it boosts the effect of the cardio without much body stress. You'd be surprised how quick lifting fatigue goes away when you're chilling in the water.
Now, I don't know how feasible it would be for you to do both, but I'd recommend it so you can max your gains/fat loss.
If it's not possible to do both, I'd personally swap pool/gym/pool/gym so you keep a nice balance flowing without getting antsy or bored with one or the other.
