Alright fitbros help me out, another anon had a thread about this but nothing came out of it. Was doing inline dumbbell press and started to feel a sharp sensation in pic related area. It was like little jolts around that area.

Since then I have neck pain when I turn my head 90 degrees to the left or right. To be precise its a little bit to the side of where traps attach to the skull. This got better over the 2 weeks but never disappeared. But more importantly pain as in pic related is on both sides however a bit more dominant on the left. It is close to the spine (the pain) but not at a spine problem. When GF massages anything in this area the same jolt sensation is felt very close. I assume it is a tendon thing but I am unsure if it is a trap thing or something under that. Help me out fitbros, what is the issue?

sounds like some vertebra out of place or pinching some nerve, try to roll it out with a hard foam roller and do your dead hangs with a wide grip, play with shifting the weight from one hand to the other and see if the stretching helps, probably need to see a physio, NOT a chiropractor

Pinched nerve shitty form see a doctor

Rhomboid strain. Common injury from too much pressing. Happened to me on weighted dips.
Lower the pressing volume and load for a month or two, massage the area often, and do some lightweight weighted stretching.

Examples of stretches:
>jefferson curl
>pendulum stretch
>shoulder retraction on the cable machine (resistance band works too)
>lat pulldown in the stretched position, basically a lightweight dead hang

Don't overdo it with the stretching. Start with one set of 5 a day and work your way up slowly. Recovery will take time.
When you do start pressing heavier again, spend more time warming up.

Retard.
Retards, all of you, retarded subhuman egolifters, OP should do 5x8-12 presses @ 1kg and only increase 1 rep per full exercise and only increase weight by no more than 1kg and only when he can do 6x12 with proper form for a full month straight with no gym days skipped or ANY form breakdown not even for one rep.
>b-b-but it will take years!
no shit timmy, you started lifting yesterday and got injured because you don't know how to control your body, pull your head out of your ass, stupid DYEL

Because i cannot pretend to make a diagnosis over the internet like you retards
>>

Why would he need a diagnosis for this?
If a nerve is pinched, then unpinch it yourself, it's not like a herniated disc or broken bone that you need professional help for, retard.
