Really good one of the few things that works well long term because it shows when you can add weight. Downside is it has a limited ability to scale down for cutting.

1/2 good the working up to a top set is good if you're lifting with a lot of intensity warmups are prudent but also let you be extra sure that top set is peaking. The working back down is mostly fluff.

Doesn't really matter the frequency for a given muscle is ideally somewhere between every 3rd to every 5th day and the results are indistinguishable in most contexts we've tested them with equated work.

Whatever personal preference. All I have to say here is pull work should have a higher commitment because of how easy it is to imbalance front to back and cause postural issues in today's mostly sedentary population.

Deadlifts yeah they're extremely distrubuted lift and rarely reach failure in multiple areas simultaneously. It's also a technically hard lift to execute and even when done flawlessly can still hurt you even if you have advantaged leverages for it. Squat can be good for hypertrophy with the proper leverages but once you're loading more than twice your weight on your spine it just not going to do anything worth that risk.

Eh you can but if you're not being paid for it why bother? I'd say never bulk past the amount of fat you can lose in 2 months otherwise cuts just become too arduous. But being lean for the sake of it is also arduous.

You dont need to cut if you dont get fat when putting on muscle in the first place. Ive gained 7kg while my fat stayed the same, which means as a % it actually dropped. Also being lean year round isnt actually that hard. People have a complete warped view of what is normal. Only 50 ago people would wonder how its even possible to get as fat as most people are today.

Lastly, no one is lean purely for the sake of being lean, just like no one is fat for the sake of being fat. What a ridicule statement to make.
