Is peating and bodybuilding a doable match? Can you still build muscle on a mostly gelatine protein Peating diet while limiting red meat?

there's no reason you can't sprinkle gelatin on your ground beef if you want.

Bulking yes. Cutting no. Peating isnt designed to put anyone in a catabolic state.

Not peating. Gelatin isnt a complete protein. Only reason to add gelatin to the diet is to balance out the methionine in muscle meats.

Certainly not peating. Red meat and especially ruminant meat is the highest quality meat you can get.
I've posted this before but among the things that peating does for lifting are

I've heard people reference Stan Efferding's Vertical Diet as "peating for bodybuilders", and it seems like it's just about as close as most would get. I liked it when I tried it. Might have to grab the newest version, now that I think about it... I'm sure he's updated things since then.

The point is that 99 percent of doctors dieticians etc aren't multidisciplinary and have no framework for how multiple bodily systems interact and frankly don't even care to have one since their job is treating symptoms as they arrive.
For instance

Both statements are true and have been proven for a long time but there are virtually zero practical frameworks that actually tell you what to do with that information.

You can literally just try it out and see if it does anything.
I only tried it out to treat insulin resistance and in less than a year of minor dietary changes it's vanished on top of a dexascan that says my visceral fat within the normal range for the first time in years.
