Is this good for you?
>>
>>76756505
Gives you giant fingers apparently
>>
>>76756505
That's far from enough to give you heart problems related to excessive cardio. And anyone doing a 50k just to post it and call themselves an ultrarunner do not achieve ultrarunning status. A 50k is a poorly measured marathon. If you want to run a 50k trail race because it's a good distance for a trail race cool but this is extremely gay and also not impressive
>>
>>76756563
So you do it, or you're worse and less impressive than gayness.
>You won't
>>
>>76756563
pretty sure running for 5 hours straight is probably bad for you in certain ways
>>
>>76756576
I've ran a 50 miler at a faster pace than that off a track. And max distance is 100 mi < 24hrs. Why else would I be gatekeeping? It's annoying seeing these egotist do it purely for attention. In runner community, along with any other community, there are people who need to feel like other people are impressed by what they do but marathons are common enough that at this point they may not see it as impressive enough. To be impressive they can either run a marathon fast (actually takes work) or they can go beyond a marathon. So you see a lot of people doing a 50k and then broadcasting how they are ultrarunners and how crazy this challenge was because it's the tinest notch above a marathon that people accept. But it's <5mi past the marathon distance. With the walk to and back from the marathon you can easily approach an unofficial 50k around a marathon. So people who do it like OP pic are douches and I dislike them greatly. It goes against the general vibe of ultrarunning/trail running which is a pretty cool community

50km isn't much longer than a marathon and that means he took over 4 hours to run a marathon which is below average
>>
>>76756889

4 hours isn't average it's a good achievable time, it's the 1/2/3/4 of long distance.

Scaling up on a straight line basis from a 4 hr marathon, you'd get 4 hours 46 minutes. So took an hour longer than a good distance runner.

Impressive to do this on a track I guess but cringe post.

what pop culture hollywood npc media inform npcs to start saying "the lion..."?
>>
>>76756505
Lions don’t run a lot. They lay around most of the day and only move when it’s time to kill something, which they do as a pack in short bursts
>>
>>76756505
Without any training yeah. But humans are endurance animals, so it's not insane either.

It wont even get you accepted in a major marathon. Its slow as shit. Youre gay and probably suck cocks
>>
>>76757440
And without warming up and doing 30 min stretches.

Seethe. This is a common mentality amongst ultrarunners. We all independent see how gay these types of people are and dislike them. A sub 3 marathon and way way way harder than a 11+ min / mi paced 50k (on a track too, made it as easy as possible to just barely hit that ultra mark)

What do you mean "for you"

>>
>>76756505
Good for your heart, bad for your knees
>>
>>76757457

It’s not good by runner standards but it’s a good time for an average joe to hit. Hence comparison to 1/2/3/4, achievable by basically everyone but needs the work to be put in.

I have never suck a cock, so there.
>>
>>76756505
Is what good for you ? putting your phone on a roomba ?
>>
>>76758141
Wayyyyyy more people can run a 4h marathon than bench 2pl8, hell even for women it's below average.
By proportion a 3:30 or even 3:15 marathon is a more accurate comparison.
>>
>>76758332

That’s a selection bias surely. 99.9% of people couldn’t run a marathon sub 4 hours. It only seems like that’s an average time when comparing against other marathon runners.
>>
>>76758500
I could say exactly the same about the 2pl8 bench, except the percentage would be even higher.
Skinny dyels who do a sport as a past time could probably run sub-4 with a few weeks training, but they'd have to work for a year or longer to get a 2pl8 bench.
For the vast majority of women or old people the 2pl8 bench will never be attainable, but the sub-4 marathon will within a few months.
Really the only group who would find the 2pl8 bench easier are overweight males or very athletic males who are too heavy for long distance, this subgroup of people is smaller than the former in my previous paragraph.

An easy course but I was specifically curious how fast I could run a 50 miler after doing a lot of endurance training and the race was close to me

1/2/3/4 for a marathon would be way closer to 3 hours. Maybe 3:15 at the most is like deadlifting 4pl8, if not 3 hours flat. 4 hours is in the you’re not training properly territory for a healthy young man
