*refuses to go away*
never had this shit and the OHP is my best lift
>>76758008Impingement is a myth.>uhm actuallyno
>>76758008Domt twist your shit fucked up you gotta leave space for the weight to push on your shoulder vs shoulder socket. Twisting your elbows up and back fuck it up, so do elbows in and twiat in with elbows and hands. Dont go too far down till you can get the form right.
>>76758075Its very real, my brown friend
Hey egoliftingcuck, have you tried learning the exercise properly?>I am shearing my shoulder at wrong angle with weight I shouldn't be lifting because I'm too retarded to maintain form, how could this be causing me pain?
>>76758203You're indian or south american
>>76758008Do external rotators cuff exercises, make sure your shoulder blades aren't squeezing together.
The answer if you're already lifting is just to see a high end chiropractor a few times. This comment will cause at least one person to absolutely spaz out that a chiropractor will DEFINITELY kill you. They're going to be unreasonably angry that I had the audacity to even suggest this. The objection to chiropractory in general is the neck. Just don't let them move your neck. It's not like they fucking force it on you kekAdditionally "hurrr it will definitely kill you" is fucking ridiculous for a few reasons. Actual REAL doctors kill people (or get them killed) all the fucking time for the dumbest reasons imaginable. In fact, dying like that is significantly more common than dying at a chiropractor. Millions of people see chiropractors like 3 fucking times a week because they're dumb fat asses who refuse to do the strength/stretch work to not need it anymore and hardly anybody ever fucking dies.
>>76758008Start training dead hangs (look up how to do them) I forgot the full explanation but blah blah blah monkey -> human we stopped hanging so much and it is really good for us and helps open up and create more space at impingement site. Also should probably do these: https://youtube.com/shorts/s57DUHHfWGsOnly do dead hangs if this is confirmed shoulder impingement and you aren't just guessing what your shoulder pain is, if it is a tear or something you might just make it worse
>>76758008I started lifting BECAUSE I developed this shit. 20 years of being a lazy slob working hunched over a desk, constantly leaning on my arm, resting my head in my hand, resting on my elbow when lying on the couch or bed, all combined with no exercise and what muscle mass I had naturally diminishing with age fucked me up good. Even when the pain started I never fixed these bad habits and it became so bad I could barely lift a cup of tea up to my mouth. The first time I tried some pressups and lateral raises, my shoulders sounded like a retarded giraffe dancing on bubble wrap, and I was in absolute agony for a week. Realised I needed to introduce stretches, mobility exercises and a lot of warm up to my routine, pushed through the first month, and eventually started to see a real improvement. Now the pain still comes and goes, but at most is only like 25% of what is was at its worst. Also the popping noises have pretty much disappeared.
