>Be me
>Have seemingly inescapable skeletor physique for most of life
>finally decide to do something about it
>listen to dirty bulk advice and see some progress but hit a wall at 184 lb
>decide to cut down aggressively to get to single digit bf % and then lean bulk once there
>manage to do it but am only able to maintain it for like two days and then do the meme where you gorge cuz of fucked up hunger signaling
>near the end of the cut literally daydreaming about fast food and would watch faggot mukbangers on youtube for hours on end just to drool over the food.
>Am 6'4" and currently 172 lb
I've put basically half the weight back on and am hovering around 18-20% body fat. My ultimate goal is to get to 200 pounds and maintain there with a physique focused on aesthetics. For the past month or so, I've basically been eating everything in sight, with my only focus being on hitting my macros every day and, desu, I've really been enjoying it. Should I just say fuck it and embrace the dirty bulk for another month and then try maintenance and cutting again? Or should I immediately attempt to course-correct and start cutting down again? Picrel is my goal physique.

I'm 6'4" 220 and 2.5 years ago I was 173. I just worked out and ate a lot, it's really not that fucking hard I genuinely have no idea how you're fucking up so bad. I'm at 13% bf with 4/6 visible abs.

Fitness is a LIFELONG process, I'm not sure why you're being such an impatient fucking idiot. I'm going for 240 and I expect it will take another 2 years to get that last 20 lbs of lean muscle.

how much do you eat? i struggle gp past 200lbs

I eat the dinner my wife makes (a 2x large entire plate size portions, likely 2.5k calories) and 2 sandwiches + chips + 1 fruit for lunch. Protein shakes help but I don't use then (too little oversight into what they put in them i.e. high levels of lead and arsenic).

You MUST have a LONG horizon for weight gain. 0.5 lbs every 2 weeks for example. 12-15 lbs per year. You must eat well every single day, if you don't eat a good amount a single day you've ruined your entire 2 week cycle. You must lift heavy at least 3x weekly, if you do 2x you will merely maintain your current standard.

There is no special secret trick, it's just consistency. You cannot ever not eat well for a day. You cannot miss a workout, you must do at least 3. It's not an option to not do it. Don't cut, don't dirty bulk, don't do any of that bullshit - slowly progressively overload and eat well every single day. You will think "man I fucked up yesterday and didn't eat well I must eat 2x today" that's not how it works you've already failed and cannot fix it simply don't fail.

For context when I graduated High School I was 6'4" 137 lbs. I have always struggled. This is the only thing that works for me. It's not fun, it's not sexy, but it works.

Workout Routine:
AxBxAxxBxAxBxx
A Day:
> Squat (3x10/8/6)
> Bench (3x10/8/6)
> DB Curl (3x10)
> Leg Press (3x10)
> Dips or Calf Raises

B Day:
> Deadlift (3x4/2/1)
> OHP (3x10/8/6)
> Barbell Shrugs (3x10)
> Barbell Rows (3x10)

My workout for context. I'm in and out of the gym in 40 minutes. I firmly believe everyone on earth can find time to do this. This isn't to brag but I hit 2/3/4/5 this year and I literally began with the bar 2.5 years ago at 29.
