>lifted for a long time
>was geniunely a buff motherfucker once
>then some bad shit happened
>snapped both my elbows, snapped my left wrist, busted my L5, severe depression, anxiety, alcoholism
>haven't lifted weights in... shit I think 4 years now?
>look like a skinnyfat piece of shit
>want to start again, i am mostly healed, though bad mental issues remain
>the thought of having to start from scratch and having to invest years again to reach my form
i want to start again, but having to do it all over again and remembering how long it took and how hard i worked is so demoralizing, i don't think i can do it again
anyone else here was in the same dilemma once? were you able to bounce back?

even if i had the money, i would have no idea where to acquire steroids
so no, i won't (be able to)
also, i'm not the youngest anymore too, i turn 30 this year

still young enough to grow. try a new way of training. a real bodybuilding training that is. forms are just knowledge and they should be built-in to your mind (some will say muscle memory or whatev) since the upperbody is just a work around ur shoulder blades.

i came back from a hiatus d/t covid and school last year and the first month was a disaster with torn labrum, fukd radial nerve and elbows snapping during push movements. had to adjust and it's been going ok so far. i gave up on aesthetics and mainly want the biggest size i can get within 15%ish bf

>>76761663
it is better and cheaper to just blast roids than going to the gym
>>
>>76761650
>>76761663
hasn't even begun
I lifted a bit when I was 26-27 or so, then gave up for a long time and didn't start again until 33, almost 34
best decision in my life, never looked or felt better

you need to cool down anon. have some milk.

started back up at 4/20 2024 after 4 year hiatus after covid shutdown the gyms. stopped smoking. stopped drinking. feel good. look great. hydrostatic body fat percent machine says I'm sub 16% now.
anyways I didn't have any injuries so it's easier for me. if I was you I'd hire a personal trainer at a chain gym. and then try different locations to try out different PT's until you find one that isn't retarded. because at a cheap price point that chain gyms offer the good ones don't know how to market themselves yet. they're there though.
and I'm saying hire a PT because they're used to working with fatasses so they know how to make a real exercise something low intensity enough anyone can do it.
like you can't do a pushup? alright maybe you'll just bench the bar LOL.
can't even squat bodyweight? use one of those pregnancy exercise balls against the wall.
anyways you'll only have to go through that humiliation for a half a year fucking around. then you'll be able to lift like a DYEL again. because yea you definitely weren't big if you look skinnyfat when you stop lifting.
and where is that fat guy who looks good and restarted lifting again a couple months ago. he only posted 1 update and he said he'd be back monthly.

I've never fallen that far off the rocker but I tend to have periods of months where I don't eat enough and lose tons of muscle (due to either injury/illness/life stress).
I started at 145 lbs and float between 160 lbs and 200 lbs. I constantly retrain my bench from 2pl8 to 3pl8x5 (currently at 3pl8x3 @ 185), etc.
"Muscle memory" is kinda real, it's much easier to regain strength/muscle than it is to build it for the first time. But you're still maxed out at <= 0.5 lbs of muscle per week

Do you have no muscle after all this time?
I swear I lost five or six pounds, likely muscle, after keeping busy and not lifting for a month.

remember it's not about reaching some arbitrary goals but about having a sense of progression and direction, it might take some time to rebuild your former physique, but it should be an enjoyable process once you ease yourself into that, especially that this time you know what you're doing
having this kind of constant in one's life, a productive output is great, especially with your mental issues
rebuilding muscle can be surprisingly easy btw
if you have time and resources, stop hesitating, just try it out and try to ease into it
I'm just a stranger on the internet, but I wholeheartedly support you brah

I don't know, but some known neo-Nazis are Slavic that were mocked.
Though the ideology is all retarded, Nazis had Mischling Jews and puppet states in the Balkans.
