Lifting 3 days a week (down from 6 days) and I feel lazy as fuck, but my lifts are finally making progress again, so Im gaining muscle and strength for the first time in awhile, probably because im actually recovering....But i feel pretty lazy now only going to the gym 3 days a weekI dont want to start doing other physical activity or some shit on the 4 days off because then that would probably fuck up this amazing recovery im getting now with the rest daysBut yeh feels like shit. I guess I can go for walks or something idk
>>76764893Yeah that's how it works. I'd get a fitness tracker. Because they can generally give you a bigger picture of recovery and how much more other shit you can really squeeze in there. If you're routine is able to scale down at all when you should probably go down a bit because you slept like shit 3 days in a row or your hrv is in the gutter so your ability to even benefit from training more is non-existent. Tends to be better with full bodies but you can make splits work better with those insights.
>>76764893The same volume over more days shouldn't be worse for recovery.
>>76764935I literally did that, spread 3 days full body volume into 6 days, and i wasn't make any progress, and my joints and tendons started hurting.
>>76764935But it is, retard.
>>76764954>I literally did that, spread 3 days full body volume into 6 days, and i wasn't make any progressAnd back to three the progress returned...To me this is like someone saying they love candy bars but the fun size ones taste bad. Like something else must be different.Anyway sure, go for a walk.
>>76764984>But it is, retard.Me, over 40, lifting 7 days a week, gaining strength and size: Oh ok.
>>76764998Sorry, but I don't want to hear a word from DYELs who are twice my age but somehow are still making noob gains.
>>767648934 days is the perfect balance
>>76765006>still making noob gains.Only started ~2y ago, but also started ~2y ago and still making gains because I know how to train. Tried 235 rear delt fly yesterday (succeeded).>don't want to hear a wordOops didn't care fgt.
