So having big muscles makes me more of a man however taking roids makes me less of a man. How should one approach this dilemma.
>>
do what you wish to do without caring about the opinions of others or things you read on the internet.
>>
Unless you're a twig literally malnourished or obese then changing your body composition is useless
Being a man or less of a man is determined by your attitude and upbringing which is determined by things you cant control namely your bone structure, height, face, frame and intelligence which all tie back to how your parents look/are and how they raised you

ask your dad about "shortcuts in life" and why are they not usually the good think and why the longer and harder path is more manly

>having big muscles makes me more of a man
LMAO
>>
>>76765274
At what point in time weren't the masculine ideal one with big muscles? Outside of some coping redditor's headcanon that is?
On this board as everywhere else a skinny guy will be looked down on for his physique and his masculinity brought into question.
>>

For most of human history nobody was concerned with "masculinity", it's a modern invention of western gender-confused slaves. Nobody thinks of bodybuilders as masculine men.

Find good woman, make babies and raise them well. That is being a man.
>>
>>76765331
Maybe not articulated like so but the strongest male always enjoyed a high degree of respect. This holds true for all animals in fact. Observing big muscles sends very primal signals to someone's reptile brain.
>>

I'm not ready for this level of stress and misery

>taking roids makes me less of a man.

Literally the opposite is true on a biological level. That doesn't mean take gear but don't get your ideas about masculinity from this dumbass board lmao
>>
>>76765224
Trying to adhere to social standards is what women do. Just do what you want to do.
>>
>>76765366
I assume you think masculinity is only correlated with confidence or some nebulous shit like that?
>>
>>76765357
Yeah I'm sure muscular slaves and gladiators were held to the highest respect by sissified roman patricians
>>
>>76765369
Why do all people here LARP as if social pressure isn't a big component as to why they're lifting. It's all pretty damn transparent you know.
>>
>>76765386
Compared to non-muscular slaves and gladiators? Certainly more so.
>>
>>76765256
i found this video pretty absurd when it happened, now i wouldn't think much if it happens again

Doing steroids is cheating
>>
>>76765382
No, I mean testosterone is literally the hormone responsible for developing male sexual characteristics. To say it makes you "less of a man" is ludicrous
>>
>>76765403
Aren't we dealing with unfair advantages/disadvantages to begin with? Does it make a difference?
>>
>>76765407
So the logical conclusion is that everyone should roid as much as they can?
>>
>>76765403
Not a gearhead but there are no rules to life
>>
>>76765440
Nta, but at the very least do what you can to make sure your natty test levels stay high
