Why don't more people train with heavy clubs?
Heavy clubs have been used for centuries in various cultures as a tool for physical conditioning and combat preparation.
You can literally train anywhere and anytime with these. Unlike most gym exercises that stick to the sagittal plane, club training involves dynamic, rotational movement that engages muscles often overlooked in traditional workouts.

Nobody talks about it because, while it can be used in those ways, it is wildly inefficient compared to pretty much anything else. It's basically a kettlebell but you look like a silly jeet.
>>
>>76766644
It doesn't matter whether they work or not, nobody wants to use them because they are Indian-coded.
>>
>>76766644
I use them as part of my training regimen, they are very good to layer on to traditional lifts.
>>
>>76767078
Yeah, they're just niche and only good as accessories, its not really a surprise that they're not discussed much.
They really are good for core strength, rotator cuffs, shoulder mobility, asymmetric movement etc.
>>
Don't know about heavy clubs, but those light 500g clubs are fucking amazing for loosening up your shoulders and upper body.

I do three sets of 60 swings every single morning, and it's done wonders for my shoulder mobility.
>>
>>76766644
I would say that the people who would benefit from them already know about them and use them, so there is not a lot of room for discussion.

Not a muscular contraction.
Excessive weight on rotator cuff
A sufficient lifting programnwouldnt leave enough room for recovery to integrate something this dangerous.
Any other questions?
>>
>>76768562
>Not a muscular contraction.
hips, obliques lats and traps contract to initiate the rotation (of, say, a shield cast or mill)
triceps on the pullover
biceps to decelerate
forearm to flash grip

How many people are in india?
How many strength sports do indians excel at?
How many weightlifting gold medals do indians win?

Okay, this is spooking me. Whomst've to believe? Is it good for shoulder and rotator cuff or bad? Because I need help with those and I can't tell who's being truthful.
>>
They're stupid
>>
>>76766644
because it's a literal meme that only drooling retards buy into
/thread
>>
>>76768905
it doesn't feel good and I immediately smacked my knee with it
with a heavier club it's easy to see that there's something there, but I just need a proper minimalist program and not Mark Wildman's garbage
>>
Everything I see someone using them all they do is guide the direction of the club but it's own weight/momentum is doing all the work.
>>
>>76766644
Because we're white and not indian. We dont need to do stupid dances or shit eating rituals to seem cool. Heavy clubs are retarded as an exercise implement. Just about anything else will do a better job than using gravity and momentum to flamboyantly flail a big stick and rest it on your shulder.

Please go back to your own corner of the internet, no one wants you here.

>How many weightlifting gold medals do indians win?
how many gold medals does indian have overall compared to it's population size?
>>
why can't i just use a sledgehammer i already own
mindless consoomerism
>>
>>76766644
Yeah and now we have barbells. No reason for this to exist anymore

>Mark Wildman's garbage
Tell me more about you limited world view
>>
>>76766644
Because they are worse than more available, easier to access alternatives. There is nothing that they do better. But go ahead and try to explain.
>>

Kek worse than Estonia. And like half the golds are from British colonials winning cricket in the early part of the 1900s

only saars use these.

I had the stiffest, most immobile shoulders, and it's all fixed now.
Just don't be a retard and start out with heavy clubs, and focus on controlled movement.
500g's is enough just for mobility.
>>
>>76766644
because you look like a loser doing it
>>
>>76766644
Meme dyel bait just like kettlebells
>>
>>76766644
It's good for practicing sword fighting, but not much else.
>t. Used to play with the SCA and spent a fair bit of time doing flourishes with my heaviest sword

I think the style with which >>76768562 is written tells more than enough about its credibility (none XD)

Because the people who do look like shit and suck at sports.

Impressive digits but a nonsense post
>500g's is enough just for mobility.
How does a pound do anything for mobility vs the same motion with just your arms? Or hold a water bottle or a can of pop. Why do you need jeet clubs that weigh so little?
>>
>>76766644
>Why don't more people train with heavy clubs?
if they were any good, you'd see professionals doing them instead of shitty retarded indians.

Good morning saaar, btw.
>>
>>76766644
Shitskin activity
>>
Splitting wood is more manly.
>>
Why wouldn't you just buy a short barbell? That's already a few kg and you can put some small plates on the other side, so you effectively create a mace that can be done as a club. Sounds much better than buying a couple of overpriced jeet sticks.
>>
>>76772007
I don't see anything wrong with how it's written and what he says is true.
