some youtube shill with a bad book talks about a "Gladiator Deadlift" that is: stand up, put a weight to your left and right, bend down to pick up one weight with the opposite hand, stand up, bend down to pick up the other weight with the free hand, stand up, set both weights down, repeat.
what I'd rather have than a lift is a program. There are all kinds of nearly-forgotten programs out there that have good results, because they were designed to get some use out of weak conscripts vs. roided up professional athletes.
