Anyone else buy frozen mixed berries, throw some in a container, put it in a fridge and eat it when it's thawed? People in my life were telling me it was gross, but I came up with the idea because I hate how fresh berries have an almost non-existent shelf life. Point is I can't be that weird.. right anons?
>>76769136if u cant afford BIO super duper quality veggies or fruit, frozen is the way to go... the harvest it when they are ripe (normally they would harvest them sooner so they rippen on the way to u) and they should have less preservatives and stuff
>>76769136That's actually a very healthy habit. Keep doing it. Berries are very high in antioxidants.
>>76769300>high in antioxidantsi disagree
>>76769136why not make sorbet out of it? Do you not have a blender? It's just a horrible mush when thawed.
>>76769136I eat frozen berries every day in my breakfast :)
>>76769136not bad but try this>plain greek yogurt>one scoop protein powder of choice>handful of frozen berriesthe yogurt + protein powder turns into a tasty mousse/pudding which starts melting the berries because it's slightly warmer. tastes like a dessert but has 35g+ protein
>>76769136Try this:>buy frozen fruit, or freeze fresh >put in bowl>microwave until warm liquid fruit juice in bowl, but dont evaporate it>crush up/break apart fruit with spoon to release more juiceMix ins to tailor your macros:>grind oats in coffee grinder to powder, it absorbs the juice and you get delicious fruit oats>put almond butter in the hot fruit juice and watch it melt in as you mix it>ground cinnamon that dont need no sugar>cottage cheese becomes high protein fruit yogurtits pretty god tier sloppa. highly reccomend
