>>76770106I don't what you call it but every generation has some amount of negative attention seeking people. In the millennials this tended to take the form of the "political martyr" just someone who'd say dumb shit then when people attack them for that dumb shit feel like it's confirmation they're right. Zoomers have a lot more of this but it extends to almost every topic. I assume because of how easy it is to find a lot of negative attention on internet in relation to positive attention (as a male at least). This just winds up shaping their world view more and making them feel like they have to play the role of antagonist.
