Are multivitamins a meme?
>>76770904Yes
Yes. They typically use the cheapest, least bioavailable forms of the vitamins listed so you dont even absorb most of it. Better off buying vitamins individually and even then the overwhelming majority a memes especially if you already eat a balanced diet. IIRC the only ones that have proven results for overall health were vitamin D, creatine, and omega 3 fish oils. And of those, creatine is by far the best bang for your buck.

Multivitamins are mostly a meme, yes. However, it is difficult to get the micronutrients you need from a normal diet without putting a ton of thought into every bite of food you consume every day.I take this just to make sure all my bases are covered. Most multivitamins are way underdosed and as another anon said, many use the shittiest form of the vitamins possible.
>>76770904Yeah but they are still useful. You won't get anywhere near the amount they list because of poor absorption. But they are good enough to make sure you're never defiant in anything. You just won't have "optimal" levels.
