I really would like a better body (skinny right now). Ideally something like picrel, which I think I could get. Right now I am just training my arms with dumbells...Here is my problem: I live in the middle of nowhere. Ultra rural. The closest 'gym' is in some health center like 4 hours away!Is there any way I can get this kind of physique at home? I do not have infinite funds, but if someone could suggest the most effective stuff I need then I will get it... OR if I could do this just using bodyweight exercises, then please let me know!Sorry if this is rudimentary, but any insight would be great.
the most important thing is diet. read the stickybut yeah you can get that fizeek with a pullup bar and a dip station. or you can get it faster with bench + barbell + power rack. depends on your budget
>>76772288I think I have diet down. Thanks for the advice
>>76772278Super attainable natty physique especially if you are already skinny. How heavy are your dumbbells? You can use them for almost anything but one piece of equipment you will need non negotiably is a pullup bar, there is now way to do a vertical pull with DBs. But I would say calisthenics and weighted calisthenics is best for minimal equipment, I would say start with r/bodyweightfitness Recommended Routine if you are completely new to working out, e.g. can’t do 8 clean pull-ups. From there there are lots of programs for hypertrophy focus and you could easily get bigger than that guy doing bodyweight stuff. The one pitfall with calisthenics unarguably is legs, you can do shrimp squats and pistol squats, nordic curls and reverse hyperextensions, but you will eventually have to do those for very high reps to make leg gains. Barbell squats and hinges are unequivocally the best drivers of lower body hypertrophy, though you can make due without them, check out Daniel Vadnal’s Limitless Legs for example. I would start in a small surplus +200-300kcal and 0.8-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight
>>76772877>How heavy are your dumbbells?i have 2x 10kg and 2x 20kg - open to getting more as I need them of course, but those seem to work for me right now.tyvm for the detailed answer!
>>76772278Power rack, barbell, and pl8s shouldn't run you more than $600, and idk how much screw-on DBs have gone up since I bought mine, but I spent like $150. Just look on Amazon, and don't buy the most expensive version of anything. You don't have to buy it all at once either, you can save up.
>>76772278Honestly? Just play Ring Fit Adventure for 1 hour each day no skips, max reps as much as you can and enable the option to always finish the full set. Also change some exercises like plank to sets of 30 push ups, add some weights for some exercises, etc.
>>76772278Good incline bench, cage that bolts down or you can put pl8s on, oly dbs, cable pulleys to use like a machine if wanted in the squat cage.
