Anyone gone through this? I know the recovery period is like a year and you have to relearn how to walk, but does it permanently fuck you up? I'm worried that if I do this my legs will randomly snap in half 2 years from now doing squats
>>
if don't have a large torso, large head and long arms then you'll look like a freak

I did this, from 5'8 to 5'11.
I did the non weight bearing nails so I had to be in a wheelchair. I could walk after 4 months post surgery.

After about 1 year post surgery I could run and jump but not with full strength. It takes about 2 years until you can run and jump like you used to.

any long term pain or issues? where did you go?
>>
You’re very sick in the head if you do this
>>
>>76773360
No longterm pain now but as long as the nails are in the legs there is always some discomfort. So you need to take out the nails 1-2 years post surgery and then it takes a couple months until its completley healed

the extension is mainly in the thighs, 2-3 inches of variation is completely normal for men. youll just look like you have slightly long legs, which is fine especially for white guys because compared to other races we tend to have longer torsos.

whats the alternative to the non weight bearing nails? and did you stop working out completely during that year?

should I do it bros

There are weight bearing internal nails where you can still walk during lenghething but I have not looked into this stuff for a long time.

I didn't really stop working out but the problem is when you are in a wheelchair for a couple months you lose pretty much all your leg muscle and it takes forever to get the muscles back.

Asians have long torsos and black have long legs, white guys are well proportioned.

the procedure only goes up safely to 3 inches. there are some that let you extend both the thighs and calfs, but those also only go up to 4.5 inches and they cost double..
>>
Why not just buy taller shoes? If you're going to fake it, might as well do it safely.

I've yet to see someone who regained full function in their legs. Show me one person that had that surgery and can do 2pl8 squats. ONE. Their legs also look super skinny and weird. Do you really think you can unnaturally stretch out all the tissues in your legs without any serious consequences?
>>
>>76773440
Yea you can, that's what happens when you grow. Once it is all healed up the legs look normal again.
>>
>>76773447
Ok anon, do it
>>
>>76773453
I did it, as I already wrote in this thread

your femur doesn't get sawed in half and then forced to regrow up and down-wards from both sides at the sawed off portions to meet in the middle when you grow bruh
>>
>>76773487
yea but the body fills the gap with bone material which hardens. The point is the stretching of the muscle is not the issue

>yea but the body fills the gap with bone material which hardens.
Do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this but one of the potential issues is that such a drastic regrowth may end up far from how strong the bone would be naturally, no? Even when you normally break a bone, you put it right together as close as possible so the amount that has to regrow new is minimized

>the stretching of the muscle is not the issue
Well if you grow then it's not just your bones lengthening and everything stretching, but your whole body getting the growth impulse (I THINK), which would include organs and muscles too, so they're made to adjust and grow bigger also; that impulse is absent in this case.

That's a completely normal height. Why would you risk your health over this?
