How do you guys have time do lift and do hobbies after work? My MMA classes changed schedule, and now start as soon as I finish work, and come home too tired after work.

I promise you, that one day if youre smart you will do what I'm saying. the entire time you'll be thinking it's so retarded and it will just keep working, you'll be balls deep cumming in some 24 year old idiot thinking "holy shit that guy was right"

33. Just hit 1/2/3 this year after a long time of spinning my wheels. +5lbs a workout is not happening. +5lbs a week is still very difficult. Last time the 3pl8 squat gave me a tension headache for 24hrs. Got a kid and a job and wife so 7hrs sleep is my max for a while.

Any recs for a different style of program? My routine is basic af, 3x week alternating squat, bench, ohp + accessories (pull ups, chin ups, dips, curls, tricep extensions, cable rows)

Go 1000% all in on learning everything you can about AI in the next few years. Do an online bachelor's degree in AI from some state U (or masters if you already have a degree). Go monk mode until 35 or so. Move to a studio apartment in some super low COL area (like West Virginia) and focus on lifting, learning, and maybe meeting a future wife.
https://online.iu.edu/degrees/artificial-intelligence-ba.html

I think (and this is the opinion of some random idiot so take it with grain of salt) there's going to be a severe recession starting sometime in the next year due to the AI bubble popping. After that, there's going to be a boom period where anyone with basic AI skills will be able to land a solid job. It will be similar to the 2008 recession and the period afterwards (starting in 2011 or so) where people were landing jobs will bullshit certs from coding boot camps. Maybe I'm wrong about this but I think that's your best gamble if you want to land a good white collar job by 35. Alternatively, you can try go be a cop or firefighter or something since that won't be automated and you're presumably /fit/.

>>76774870
Doing an online course and going monkmode just means he'll goon all day, get anxiety and stay in the comfort zone. Going to the gym where everyone is wearing headphones and no one talk won't help him much even if he commits.

I'd just get any job and save 10-15k, not hard at all since you live with your parents, should take 1 year max.
Then fuck off to some thirdie place that's not too rough, like Peru, Bolivia Vietnam, Morocco, Senegal.
Once you're there you don't stay in tourist traps with the roasties, you go to max 10k pop cities and just survive there while learning the language. You go out every day and always have a conversation when people come to you, it'll happen a lot.
With your 10k you can last 6 months easily and I swear you'll be another man in the end. Anyone denying didn't try.

When you come back you can do the cookie cutter stuff like getting a good job and finding a wife. It's easy as fuck if you're an healthy male, not an achievement that'll make you feel like you "made it".

Oh yeah, as far as training. I wake up around 630am, do a morning mobility thing for 20min, try get a bit of study done (compSci remotely at uni), I usually work from 9-5. Eat the second I get home. Try study a bit more. Lift around 7pm. Maaaybe a protein shake after. Unless I go to bed slightly hungry, my stomach feels full and sick. That's pretty much my life right now. And on the weekend I have a root with some bird I'm seeing. Didn't think my life could be this meaningless at 30, but i never lose hope

so they match on keywords that are in the job description. i wrote a script which had the basics of my CV static (name, work/education experience, projects, etc) and then would feed it a list of bullet points from the job listing. this was used to dynamically create a set of skills/technologies that matched what they were looking for. so if it talked about typescript and vue, those would appear first on the skills section, if it talked about C++ and AGILE those would appear, etc. you don't have to automate it but you want to submit a custom resume for each job that lists as many of the "we're looking for someone with..." from the listing as possible

don't lie and NEVER use AI for any writing. but that's the gist

What's your current financial status like?

If you have like 2k or can manage to hustle it in the next few months, I'd go somewhere on the Mediterranean, any coastal city that has tourism will do.

Go there, get a shack or a hostel and get a job as a waiter in a bar. They will hire anyone with any tiny bit of skills.

You will be work hard, but also will be forced to be among people, learn to socialize, talk to everyone, flirt with women, and heal from shit bothering you. After that you'll probably end the season with like 30k USD saved.

Now, you're unfucked a bit and more social. You can take that money and go to Thailand/Vietman for a year, pay rent, eat and fuck while you learn actual skills to start an online business with the AI skills you learned by listening to >>76775280

Dont fully believe posts like this. This is what it looks like to be an entry level junior whatever in tech. As soon as you get past the 1 year mark, be prepared to work ridiculous hours.
People who stay this way quickly get fired and have a lot of trouble finding new jobs. Even if they do, the team they are working with will quickly find out how incompetent you are. The only thing that can save you from getting fired is nepotism.
Also dont believe the reply of them working as senior with many jobs. None of these folks are telling the truth about actual tech work. There is no such thing as a easy job

From 27 to now 37 I've gone from active to inactive, gym rat to lardy, but never fat. In the past 6 months I've accepted the fact that between my age, life, and free time, the only realistic workout routine I can keep consistent is a 3-day/week. I was doing a upper/lower routine for about 10 weeks, but have recently shifted to a PPL and it fits my schedule better. Tues Push, Thurs Pull, Sat or Sun Legs.

IMO once you get past about 35 unless you have some kind of truly physically demanding career, fitness should just be used to stay fit and prevent a sedentary lifestyle. My back, shoulders, and knees don't let me push PB's every other session.
