Redpill me on Hydroxyapatite vs fluoride toothpaste. From my limited research it seems that, even if you don't buy into the "fluoride is poison" argument, hydroxyapatite is better than fluoride at filling up micro-cracks in your teeth since it is literally what your teeth are made of, and can reverse sensitive teeth. Some of the sources I read claimed that hydroxyapatite is less effective than fluoride and may even calcify your organs. Are these claims all pozzed or can someone confirm? This is the most useful source I found which claims hydroxyapatite toothpaste is perfectly fine to use. https://periosciences.com/blogs/news/hydroxyapatite-toothpaste-does-it-work?srsltid=AfmBOopAJnAwjU-zr-G_uvw05LxVqUhqFppnFDOGzWaZOVb_FcUlMv5A
>>76775050I use one which has both. Definitely less sensitive.
>>76775065Can you recommend any brands? One source said a toothpaste with both is ideal but every brand of hydroxyapatite toothpaste I can find says fluoride-free.
it essentially boils down to>reserch suggestsit's just as fine to use as fluoride from my understanding but needs more studies to be done and all that shit before saying it's better than fluoride
Yea it depends. FA is technically stronger, HA is natural so less unknown complications. HA already works as is in your mouth, but flouride needs calcium and phosphate in your saliva to build flourapatite. So if you're someone with a dry mouth or low calcium/phosphate levels, you might not have the intended resultsAll of the above is worthless tho if you don't let the apatite build up. It's a crystal in the end, so if you really want to be safe, do the following regime:>swish water >normal floss>waterfloss (optional)>swish water>clean tounge>swish water>brush teeth>Spit out, take a peasized amount again and swish around in mouth, coating teeth>Wait at least 30min, then spit out>Dont drink water for the next 1h or best 3hThe times given might be overkill, but its always good to overshoot

>>76775120USA. I'll just have to look for other brands. I have sensitive teeth and usually use toothpaste with sensodyne.
Use the one with nano , nhap.Bunch of brands out, theres the apagard jap brand, pretty good but it has sls, can be irritating to your gums. I use davids, gonna try boka later.
>>76775050I use Sensodyne with Novamin. It worked for my sensitivity, which I had because I have a cavity.I'm hoping that the cavity is gone the next time I go to the dentist, I don't want to get a filling.I think the hydroxyapatite is safe compared to fluoride, fluoride has a lethal dose level while hydroxyapatite doesn't.
>>76775050You take both you retard.
>>76775050Ideally you'd use both as studies show combined produces better results. If you're worried about fluoride eat some kelp. nHa mouthwash might be a good way to include some in your routine
>>76775050Everyone of you has literally plastics in your balls. Don't shit yourself about flouride in your brain
>>76776698But we can avoid fluoride in the brain, idiot!
>>76776719Fucked up teeth kill you faster than flouride in your brain
Dont fall for the goypaste
I mix fluoride, hydroxyapatite, and biomin toothpastes together. One hydroxyapatite brand was fucking up my teeth, but it was probably something else in the toothpaste or a combination of the toothpaste and my electric toothbrush being too abrasive. I tried another brand and had no issues. The bad brand made my teeth much more sensitive to where I could not really eat or drink anything room temperature without some pain for a few weeks after I stopped using the toothpaste.
