What does /fit/ think about personal trainers? Are they worth it?
>>76776551never used one but I imagine they may be useful for learning proper form, but after a few sessions why bother. some people can't self motivate and need external pressure to do anything.
>>76776583Which is why only the rich use them
Initially I used one to get over the fear of starting in the gym. He turned out to be a bro so even though I haven't needed a PT for years now i still see him weekly just to catch up and ensure I'm not slipping in my formYes I'm rich
>>76776714or poor retards who don't want to feel like they're wasting their money by not having a "proper" workout

>>76776877What do you mean?
>>76776551only if they are pro. then you actually have something to learn.
>>76776583>pay money to have someone motivate you to excercise>nooo it's stupid you can't do thatWhy not? It's better than buying diet jabs. You only have so much mental stamina in a day and you might have better things to spend it on than making yourself go to the gym. Though admittedly, you can can get the same thing for free with a gym buddy.
i worked as a personal trainer for a whiletrained some pretty cool hot girls

>>76776551its been working out well for my wife. She's lost 10 lbs over the past month working with him. He doesnt even mind staying a minutes over to make sure she hits her goals.
No. They're only useful if you need somebody to guide your boomers through exercise, you have a mental disability, or you've never stepped foot in a gym before.Chatjeet and youtube videos are better than most personal trainers, and that's not because either of those are particularly good. They're just there to scam retards.
I doubt most of them would give you good form or programming advice
>>76779109Your wife lost 10 lbs from the sex she does with the trainer.
>>76776551I hired one when I was just starting out, he was a great source of information and really helped me get started, even though I didn't really love the split he had me doingIn hindsight it was fine, but I would have probably preferred a ramping volume over a few weeksThat guy who went to snap city in his jandals with his day 1 225 squat wouldn't have made the mistakes that he did if he'd hired a personal trainer for a few sessions
>>76776551Not worth it unless your old like 50+. Just think about it why are you paying someone for something like this when the only thing keeping you from progressing its consistency? Also PT earn money with clients and a lot of them arent trying to making you get to your goal. Why do you think itd ironicly always older people who have a PT
>>76776551for women, yes, they pay them to fuck them
>>76777215did you go home with any of them?
>>76776750Rich people waste so much fucking money it's wild, natural balance.
