Tell me why you arent' buying 0-calorie soda syrups and mixing with plain water to satisfy your sweet-tooth while spending basically 0 money and staying lean?
>>76778998>0-calorie soda syrupsThey're not really zero calorie. There are just fucky legal loopholes that let them say that, but they are still really low calorie, usually single digits per serving.
>>76779005Ok yeah technically aspartame has as many calories per gram as regular sugar but lets me real 3 extra calories per day vs regular water isn't going to break your diet
>>76779028I'm trying to be a water only guy. I've cut done from like 4 La Croix a day to 1 every other day. Soon to be free.
>>76779028Sometimes they add sugar but when the tally for total calories is lower than 5 (may vary by country) you can write 0 kcal in the Nutritional Info. Always check ingredients on things that claim 0 kcal.
>>76778998I never understood why people like Sodas so much. Must be some American thing. I'd rather drink some tea.
>>76778998>0-calorie soda syrupsI'd rather drink water than chemical-tasting slop
>>76778998I just don't drink sugary drinks at all because I'm not a fat fuck addicted to mouth pleasure
>>76779131Do you eat anything sweet in general? Sugar-free sodas are an easy way to get my sweet-fix so I avoid stuff like ice-cream or chocolate on the weekends, drinking tea wouldn't help with those cravings.
>>76779143That you Sam Sulek?
>>76779028No it doesn't.
>>76778998Because squirting MIO into seltzer water saves me from having to buy some expensive meme machine and refill cartridges.
>>76779142Literally zero people mention sugary drinks. What are you talking about?
>>76779162>mixing with plain waterYou dont need the machine or even carbonated water, just mix it into tap water and it tastes like a flat soda, which is plenty good for me.
>>76779152Doesn't Sam eat like 10 doughnuts each day?
>>76779166And as I said, MIO is still cheaper than these stupid refill cartridges.
>>76779131I never understood why people like teas so much. Must be some American thing. I'd rather drink some sodas.
>>76779173No idea how much it costs but mio isn't a thing in Europe so i'll cope with this. Plus getting 10 liters of soda for 4 dollars is cheap enough I dont really care if you could do it for a dollar less
>>76779182I don't really care about Europe.
>>76779188I hope you enjoy your EBT benefits now going straight to Isreal
>>76779216Sorry you're so upset.
>>76779143Strongly disagree that sugarfree sweetness is a good solution. All the people I know who drink diet drinks are the ones with the shittiest food habits. I don't think it's a correlation, I think aspertame and all the other 0-calorie sweeteners fuck with your stomach and make you crave carbs. You'll never get rid of sugar cravings if you keep giving your mouth fake sugar.
>>76778998Sparkling water with either lime or lemon juice does the soda fix for me. Any sugar cravings I have I eliminate by occasionally having a piece of toast with jam.
>>76779593>i eliminate sugar cravings by eating sugarCall the press you may have just solved the obesity crisis
>>76779608You joke but it´s the way I stop myself from pigging out on cake or ice cream or some shit.>>76779415I second this. Something about diet or zero sugar that has always felt off.
>>76778998because water is free and all you need
>>76778998Anon you are so close to discovering the perfect hydration method. Just stop putting any taste to the carbonated water and you're there. Ice cubes and a soda stream have made me actually drink something and be well hydrated.
>>76781575How much does a sodastream cost
>>7678158450 bucks maybe but you could get one of those knockoff brands for cheaper and they're just as good.
>>76781624I can't imagine paying $50 to carbonate water.
>>76781628:(
>>76778998
>>76778998These are more expensive than just buying 2L bottles.
>>76781986>random screenshot of some nondescript app with no sourcesYeah sure OK
>>76780445Probably the sugar flavor fucks up something in your brain but at least you are not eating 300 calories in a cup. HFCS and Liquid Sugar Cane are 100% worse. >inb4 sugar and corn lobbyists that only contribute to 2% of the US's crop value while taking a 3rd of the national budget.
>>76782294you can get quadruple strength at Tesco
>>76782288I agree drinking sugar/HFCS/cane sugar is bad, it doesn't really matter which one is worse sugar vs artificial-sweetener because both of them are bad enough that I don't drink them regularly. My main point is, if the sugar free stuff is working for and you're seeing progress towards your goals it's a good stepping stone and you should keep it up. I came on too strong with my last shaggy post. It's a good solution but it might be a crutch/it might be holding you back some day. I would still try to drink artificially sweet drinks in moderation, it's not a free ticket. And if some day you plateau and you want to increase your progress, consider cutting out the artificial sweetened drinks too.
