I hate Ray Peat with a passion. This faggot kike who didn't even live long somehow managed to start a cult full off deranged mentally ill schizos who believe that drinking le mexican coca-cola, guzzling pots of coffee, eating pure sugar, raising your heart rate, taking antibiotics, and taking 20 different supplements and tranny hormones like progesterone will somehow make them the epitome of health and change their subhuman life. The promoters and followers of his retarded diet like Haidut are fat pseudointellectual boomers and the Ray Peat forums are constantly full of people that get diabetes from the insane amounts of sugar they get from "peating" as well as other health problems. The only thing he was right about is that lots of seed oils are unnatural and bad for you. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Everything else he said is utterly insane and unhealthy and his followers make even the most deranged vegans and carnivore dieters look reasonable. He was also a communist who didn't believe genetics or germs existed and thought intense exercise is highly damaging to the body, so it's weird how his diet became ultra far right and bodybuilding coded. His own followers don't even follow many the things he said, Ray Peat thought you couldn't get enough vitamin A and omega 3s were poison, instead they think vitamin A is poison and omega 3s are necessary. This killed their entire forum and made them change the name from the Ray Peat forum to the low toxin forum. Since so many of the foods he recommended were extremely high in vitamin A and carotenoids (liver, egg yolks, carrots), this completely changes the entire diet to be totally unrecognizable from what he advised. People just want to signal that they're doing le Ray Peat because they think namedropping the name of this dead schizo makes them appear smart and hardcore about nutrition and biochemistry.
Feeling a bit Peaty right now, ngl
I didn't read anything beyond the first sentence, but it's pretty fuckin lame for a random dude to hold so much of your attention, OP. You really must have nothing significant happening in your life and it's pathetic that you would make a post like this.
>>76787000Damn they have WiFi in hell?
>>76786925he created disobedient cultists who won't eat eggs? what a pitiful guy.>guzzling pots of coffee>raising your heart ratewhat's wrong with these?
>>76786925He had clear communist sympathies but the forum of cultists was full of rightoid lolbertarians
>>76787000Pretty much this.>>76786925No clue who this guy is. From your description he does sound like an idiot, however he's still living rent free in your brain after his death. You're letting him win, and it's pathetic.
Not OP but every reply here ignoring his post to say things like>he's rent free in your head>imagine being so obsessedis low IQ low test cowardly tranny drivel and those posters should kill themselves for the benefit of humanity
>>76786925Yeah, he was a narcissist retard, the world is full of them and there's always going to be large numbers of gullible losers that fall for it. People join cults and kill themselves ffs
Didn't read a single molecule
hahaha
>>76787582Nah dont call him a narc he had good intentions, always replied to emails too.
>>76786925Post body
>>76786925>cultiststhey never listened to his actual advice and he intentionally distanced himself from the forums and never posted. Haidut? A vitamin supplement salesman, but peat never really suggested that supplements should be part of a healthy diet. The forum was converted into vitamin A paranoia by charlie, the owner who is a retarded evangelical fraudster and who never contributed an iota to any discussion, he then banned every single dissentor like he was the stasi. Peat is a saint who spent 40 years replying to every mail and email asking for advice and who gave away his patent for the formulation of progesterone in vitamin E. On this board ray peat is a hero
>>76786925Consider looking at him as a completely separate entity from the people who claim to be adherents. I don't think he would recommend or condone a large portion of the activities of people on the forums, and I'm not sure how his "don't poison or deprive yourself" message got twisted like that. You'd have to read his actual articles first to get the unadulterated message, then carefully comb through the forums to find the useful information that actually lines up.I've made a few changes based on what I've read that are seeming to help. >increase carbs, decrease protein (still getting ~1g/lb lean mass)>increase proportion of protein coming from dairy and broth, reduced consumption of muscle meats>raw carrots (I don't usually bother making the salad)>cooking in coconut oil for some meals>aspirin as needed>methylene blue as needed >milk, honey, salt before bed>changing approach to coffee so the caffeine isn't causing negative effects as often>reduced unsaturated fat consumption further (already reduced seed oils and HFCS, weird additives just trigger my autism)I used body temperature to gauge changes at first, but I haven't needed it in a while.None of it is anything dramatic or even difficult, but my blood work looks a bit better, I'm eating more without gaining more weight, my appetite and energy feel more normalized, etc etc. I'm guessing that trend will continue over time.Really curious how Ray would have looked at some of the mitochondria-related peptides that have come out recently like SLU-PP-332 and BAM-15.

>>76789165>t. revisionist historian fighting straw-men
>>76789169Now that's propah!
>>76789165>t. doesn't know how to t.
>>76786925My girlfriend lost 15lbs in the last year peating with obscene amounts of sugar added to everything when she could have lost 40lbs on a normal fitness diet. She went from 180 to 165 instead of 140.
