anyone just chillin? taking it /casual/?just eating in moderation, healthy meals but also a bit of indulgence from time to timejust a few casual jogs a week and some callisthenics sessions here and therebit of loose flesh around the gut, not really hitting peak performance, not caring really just tryna stay away from binge eating and depressive levels of inactivity ya knowfeels good and sustainable.
That is what I call "depressive maintenance mode" where the brain chemicals fuck me and I spend most days contending suicidal thoughts, but I still put my body through the minimal requirement of healthy food and exercise until I get better because I know it's good for me.
4 gym sessions a week, 2 lifts per sessionohp+vertical pulldeadlift+squat accessorybench+horizontal pullsquat+back extensiongentle jogs whenever you want
>>76787075This is your reminder that John Travolta is not-so-secretly gay, and regularly cruises for young men in gyms late at night.Hubbard thought gays were 1.1 ("covert hostility") on the tone scale. The only reason Travolta isn't on the RPF is because he's a celebrity with lots of money. Oh, and because he sacrificed his only son to the Church, just like the God Scientology says is only an implanted memory.
>>76787075Ive reached a level of comfiness with my diet and routine that it really doesnt require effort from me. Even if you dont try hard, you will mog most normies anyway just by slightly trying. The bar is so low nowadays theres no point on gym maxxing or roiding.
>>76787438that's a refreshing perspective. we always think these things will take a herculean effort, but really, lazy consistency always trumps overexertion and burnout. i'm going to go hard for the first few days of my new routine and then settle into a comfy holding pattern. i want to win the long game.
I’ve gotten here with time, I just eat what my wife makes, some weekends I go to the gym. I walk a lot every day. As I’ve aged being super fit and just lifting in general became less and less important to me.
>>76787368Just goes to show that gymcels aren't mentally well
>>76787438good perspective, what helped me was shifting mentality from try-harding with extreme aesthetics or PR chasing to overall health, i'm turning 40 next year and rn i just wanna be comfortable in my body and not have to buy new clothes, 2-3 ez cardio sessions and 2-3 lifts, stopped quatting and benching, will deadlift moderate weight for hamstring strength to help with cardio, otherwise all high rep mid weight
