Is a little bit of swinging and improper form a big deal if I'm trying to break through a plateau?
>>76788861It's not a big deal. Just try to clean up your form before you move up even more. Otherwise it can become uncertain in terms of whether you are actually getting stronger. It is very good to get a feel for heavy weights.
>>76788861as long as you're not getting carried away or risking injury its ok. Just move the weight up and down.By dyel 4chan formcels will shriek incessantly about "CHEATING" if you arent stanfding there like a robot tensing all the right muscles, retracting your scapula by 50% or some other autistic gibberish
>>76788861Nope you're good. Sometimes you gotta ego lift a bit to break through a plateau and progress. Just make sure you don't injure yourself. Listen to your body.
>>76788861Your muscles don’t care about form. And if you go close to failure your form WILL breakOnly roid trannies care about form because their tendons will snap if they don’t
>>76790100>Your muscles don’t care about form.but they do very much so bot :D when form is "breaking" it becomes different movement by definition isn't ist so bot? but that is completely beside the point when perfectest "form" is fucking u up BIG TIME in the first place :D >>76791596>perfect squat technique though :D>>76791387>>76791345
>>76788861>Is a little bit of swinging and improper form a big dealAt the end of a set it's like a drop set because the choice is bad reps or no reps.Wouldn't do it with back lifts.
Form worship has always been cope. Unless you're being judged by a panel to confirm a competition lift you are usually better off loosening up form to involve more muscle groups and overload the movement, especially when breaking theough plateaus. Eventually when your "cheat" form becomes stronger enough, your clean form will also be much stronger.
