I had pneumonia and some complications from it, for 3 months I barely ate and didn't go to the gym. I had only just begun lifting too. I benched 70kg for 3x10 right before getting ill, yesterday went for the first time since illness and I barely did 8 reps with 55kg. All other lifts have plummeted too. Discouraging. I felt like giving up, but didn't, finished the workout. Please advise how long it will take to get back to where I was, I go every other day.
Shouldn't take too long, I didn't lift for over a year due to health complications, lost like 13kg due to not lifting and eating anymore, bounced back up in a couple months, of course my job is also active so that kept me from being sedentary, but your muscles and strength don't really disappear just because you don't lift for a little bit.
>>76791915thats encouraging. I guess I'll reevaluate after a month. right now it feels like it's over
>>76791886It's a lot easier to regain muscles than to gain it for the first time.I stopped lifting when my son was born because I didn't have enough time for like six months and regained my strength from before in like two months.
>>76791886>pneumoniaLiver flukes? Doctors don't say anything about parasites. I'd do a parasite cleanse. Turpentine is best. Also look into chlorine dioxide.
