I do a full body routine that I split into two days and then a rest day, basically
>ABABABx

with muscle groups spread across the A and B days

what are the pros/cons of switching between exercises for each muscle group as opposed to just keeping them the same for every A and B day?

holy fuk give ur joints and tendons time to recover....

you should be doing AxxBxxAxxBxxAxx etc

you are NOT recovering and making long-term good progress training every fucking day

its low volume, i only do one set of 5-7 reps max intensity per exercise

I used to think I could get away with low volume high frequency full body, but it doesn't work, the joints & tendons eventually get fucked up from it

You need multiple days off for joints and tendons to properly heal

You can still gain muscle doing anything but what fucks people up in the end is poor recovery management

You might think youre safe because your volume per session is low, but even during those low volume sessions youre still causing micro-tears in the joints and tendons that need multiple days off to completely heal

Going back in the gym while those micro-fractures are still healing eventually causes deliberating pain and a feeling of chronic soreness/injury in the tendons and joints which leads to the inability to continue making progress at best case, or forcing you out of the gym completely at worse case
