negative pullups when you're starting out are the least fun exercise in the world, good luck though bro
>>
you buy my 4999 dollar online course

There's a book called Convict Conditioning. Ignore the faggy priaonnyard theme, and it's a great place to start

grab the bar

The reddit recommended routine is a very good place to start.

Calisthenics is like going to the gym and deciding that you will never progressively overload.

Complete waste of time.

All of the people who inspired you to do calisthenics are e-celebs who train with weights normally and do steroids, yet do calisthenics on the side to sell a fake dream to the masses who they know wont ever join a gym.

Just start lifting. I do weighted pullups, chin ups, dips, planks, side planks, mountain climbers, reverse rows, squats, lunges, single leg squats, box jumps, burpees, a bunch of balance exercises, hit my stationary bike once a week, and I've made insane gains. But you can't just slap down a few pushups in your room and be done with it. Like anything, you HAVE to take it seriously.

That's horse shit and you know it. You absolutely can progressively overload calisthenics, you can add time, increase reps per set, increase sets per exercise, increase time under tension, decrease rest between sets, and add weighted gear. Most people don't take calisthenics seriously enough to bother with it.

if your goal is overall health improvement then calisthenics is completely fine

Maybe not all of us are childish insecure losers that train only for looks and we care about aging gracefully? Something weight training doesn't guarantee you

Increase reps/sets or add weight
>>
Just keep doing it. I started by spamming pull ups everyday (now I exercise every other day). I couldn't even pull myself to the bar but bands helped me big time. Now I can do about 17 pulls up max at 176lbs though I didn't gain any muscle at all, I still look like an ugly tranny body-wise.

Luckily nobody has to do negative pullups to progress into pullups and more importantly, doing it correctly instead of cheating like that, you will learn how to do a pullup without injuring yourself.

Nice cope retard, the only progressions calisthenics have are.
>lol, just change the angle to use less muscles for same movement
>lol, now do it with one arm/leg only
that's it, everything else can be done with weights too
