Retarded broscience take. Protein is protein. It all gets broken down into the same amino acids, doesn't matter if it came from chicken breast or collagen or beans. The only difference between protein sources is how difficult it is for your body to break down (bioavailability) and the amino acid content and ratio.

Collagen is by far the best source of by far the best and healthiest amino acid, glycine. It is low in the worst and least healthy amino acid, methionine. The only downside is that it's not a "complete" protein, missing tryptophan. But your daily tryptophan requirement is less than a single gram which can be effortlessly attained by eating other proteins or by just adding some tryptophan powder to your broth.

Just boil chicken carcasses and make your own, buying whole chickens is more cost effective anyways
Even if you dont buy whole chickens you can buy chicken frames/feet, very cheap
You should still eat meat eggs and dairy, but adding stock to your diet is insanely beneficial for your skin, bones and joints.
