Blend up frozen citrus in your smoothies! I like to cut limes in half, lemons into quarters, and navel oranges into eighths, then stick them in the freezer to have with my morning protein smoothies. Gives the smoothie so much flavor and saves it from tasting bland/like cake batter. Just make sure you have a good blender and let it run long enough for there to be no big pieces of zest floating around. The limes are weirdly bad about wanting to leave little floating chunks, so avoid those if you have texture issues. The oranges and lemons blend up great, though.
