For me it was stopping caffeine, internal muscle massage and meditation to lower my daily stress and the tension I held there.

Not the same for everyone though.

Roll your buttocks area with a roller, use a tenis ball for stretching the groin area. Learn how to properly breathe using your diaphragm and where it is located (watch out for uninformative videos online that just tell you to belly breathe. It’s not the same). Make sure you breathe properly when you excercise, try limiting stress (hobby that makes you happy, writing stuff in a journal when you don’t feel good). Also try taking it easy.

I sincerely believe for most of guys that have ED the that it’s pelvic floor related.

for me it was a combination of anxiety/stress and not relaxing my stomach to pee (really)

sounds ridiculous but I was so used to walking around with my gut sucked in that I never relaxed it and obviously that led to problems

escitalopram helped out a shitload with the anxiety and really that's the kicker with pelvic floor shit because it's like a vicious cycle, once you get anxious about it the symptoms get worse, the symptoms getting worse makes you anxious about it, etc

Seconding at least cutting back caffeine. I love coffee but I can't drink it with any regularity because my whole body tenses up, I fatigue more easily, and I don't rest as easily or fully. Tea, however, doesn't cause this problem.
Consider, then, that the pelvic floor is the foundation of your core, and that core strength affects every movement you make in your daily life.

Also good advice. It's something you have to pay attention to and actively relax, like tense shoulders.

Thirded.

Also jaw clenching, teeth grinding and holding tension in the face. Massaging temples, forehead, jaw etc. can help.

Simply engage antagonistic muscles and brain will force release them.

Pelvic floor is used when cooming, so I suppose start shitting? You can simulate it with a help of a negro stimulating your prostate.

A large number of us actually live with our stomachs sucked in and our abs contracted whenever we are up. This causes issues.

Stop doing it. It's winter soon, you won't just wear a t-shirt, so you can do it without looking fat.

Belly breathe.
Or better even, ball breathe.

fourthed on coffee but why the fuck would coffee cause a hypertonic pelvis?
>>
>>76801773
It's a weak stimulant that stresses your body and encourages your bad habits like tensing up pelvic floor muscles all day unconsciously.

I have to push (reverse kegel) to realize that my muscles were all contracted all the time.

The effects will be lesser but still there, so 0 caffeine is better.
Try caffeine free coffee if you're an addict to the habit.

anons how can i tell if i have hypertonic vs hypotonic?
from what i see symptoms are similar and both match my case
i started having problems at least 1 year ago - i had to pee multiple times before going to sleep
around 3 months ago i started having constant need to pee throughout the day, but still mostly being an issue at night when going to sleep
now i have a constant feeling of not peeing out everything, some discomfort in my penis (not feeling anything on the bladder side)
i also feel like the pressure of my stream is lower than it was before

Is this not just getting older?
>>
>>76804420
im 27, and i also dont think people get this fucked, when im trying to go to sleep i can pee 8 times with breaks inbetween and still feel as if i have to pee
also when i finish peeing and want to push it out till the end the pressure gets so weak i dribble all over the floor etc, it sucks
>>
>>76804420
>>76804444
also my assumption is weakened pelvic floor
i lift heavy, weigh ~95kg, don't walk much and mostly sit on my ass during the day for work and other hobbies, so i assume it would lead to weakness
>>

for me, it started psychologically

one day im fine, next week im all fucked up

i think im slowly recovering but holy shit it ruined years of my life
