Is it over? Referred to surgery. Small inguinal hernias. Just bulges a little, doesnt hurt much. But did puss out from my heavy squat day sets because I don’t want a pair of jockeys full of intestine.

So do I ignore? Take it easy for a while? Let them bitches cut me?

Fuck do?

I also just got a referral for a inguinal hernia. Mine already hurts just from moving around and bending over. So I'm definitely not lifting until im all healed. Much rather forgo a month of gains to be sure I don't blow a bigger hole in my abdomen.

Mine just is uncomfortable all the time. But valsava doesn’t feel right.

I’m just not used to the idea that surgery won’t make shit worse. But I don’t think these really heal on their own.

If it's confirmed to be a hernia and not something else, it most likely won't. So if want to do any heavy compound lifts or core isolations in the future, you gotta let them get in there and patch it back up.

Fucking CT scan said so. So that’s probably confirmed as it’s going to get.

Fantasia has no boundaries. (How long people think they can add weight to squat and deadlift and nothing serious will happen.)

Here's an informational video on how to proceed with your day-to-day. You aren't suffering from a hernia; you're living with a hernia.

Same here, inguinal hernia. In my 30s and finally ready to get jacked, one month in start feeling a pop down there when I strain and realised what was going on after I examined myself. Doctor said I can't train and surgery would be necessary, especially if it gets worse. Fml etc. Decided to keep training anyway, fate has conspired to keep me unhappy far too long and I'm not fucking having it. I avoid certain exercises and wear a support and strap myself up good. I'll get surgery only if I absolutely have to. Still do ohp, lateral raises, curls, dips, rows, pec dec. Delts are really starting to pop now and I'm up to 5 pullups.

Had one, surgery is alright, pain sucked for two days, took it easy for a month. You forget about it after a while.

i had one too for the longest time, not knowing what it even was... just had this permanent bulge in my ballsack that i could squeeze back up
anyway i finally forced myself to get it checked out the same month i was about to be kicked off my parent's insurance-- learned it was an inguinal hernia and got a mesh repair
it went well for me desu, but i got really lucky to have some high IQ israeli surgeon guy; anyway it's really nice having only two balls again

the scary thing about them is they could get strangulated or something and that can fk u up / kill you... plus it only gets worse with time (e.g. more intestines will start to leak out) so idk see what the doctors say
