>feeling thirsty
>have a 3 scoop whey protein powder shake
>feel more dehydrated AFTER finishing the shake

In this normal? Is protein powder bad for you.
>>
>>76801156
Yes & no. Water is used up in the process of digesting protein. Why would you drink a protein shake just for feeling thirsty you fucking retard? Drink water.
>>
>>76801156
Watch this video, and you'll never take protein powder or bars without water or milk again

I almost never drink pure water unless I can help it.
>>
>>76801258
When did he say he took it without water, how do you make a shake without water?
>>76801264
Well that's fucking retarded.
>>
>>76801242
It's an excuse to spam his niggerspeed meme image.
>>
>>76801258

I skip lunch everyday and have a protein bar or a protein yogurt. Is that bad?
>>
>>76801284
You aren't eating 20 protein bars a day; so, no, you're probably fine.
>>
>>76801274

Whey protein powder is recycled industrial food waste sold to the gullible. It's a modern bodybuilding fad and incredibly unhealthy.

Natural foods contain digestive enzymes that allow the food to dissolve by itself and aid in the digestion of the food.
Even if you cook the food, there are still some that remain, but hyper-processed food products like whey protein powder are completely devoid of these enzymes.

After being processed at very high temperatures and all the water content of these powders is completely removed, and they become incredibly taxing for your digestive system.

Your own body does produce digestive enzymes, but does so at a cost, it doesn't pull them out of thin air.
Consuming hyper-processed and overcooked foods all the time exhausts the glands and organs responsible for digestion and leads to long term health consequences.

I'd seriously advise you to get protein from REAL FOOD like meat and eggs. It's better quality, full of enzymes and vitamins that whey powder doesn't have, and likely less expensive.

It's ironic that whey has turned into a toxic hyper-processed powder that dehydrates you, when real whey is one of the most hydrating substances you could possibly drink.
>>
It has lots of heavy metals added. Why would you still consume questionable powders in this year of our Lord Jesus Christ.
>>
>>76801819
i'm not OP
>>
>>76801811
The stuff you consume if you drink milk, cream or a ton of other stuff is 'industrial food waste?' That's hysterical bullshit. Whey is what's left when you make cheese and is one of the most easily absorbed proteins there is. It's like calling chicken stock industrial food waste.
>>
>>76801811
The effect of digestive enzymes on food is negligible, and only applies to some types of food anyway. Almost all digestion is done by what your body produces.
>>
>>76802389
>The effect of digestive enzymes on food is negligible
No, it isn't. Cool opinion bro.
>>
>>76801811
Lol It's the enzyme guy again.
>>
>>76803292
Feel free to post the evidence otherwise then. You won't because you can't because you made it up.

>It's ironic that totally removing all the moisture from a moisture-rich product makes it have less moisture.
Yeah ok

ngmi. not even trying. no hope

Learn from my mistake retard. I went to the hospital for unrelated reasons and they kept me overnight because I was chemically very dehydrated. You will not be hydrated enough drinking things that contain water, which is how I ended up like that. Tea and coffee all month.
