because they don't want to accidentally get big ugly muscles that just look huge and aren't actually strong. they want real strength, and toned muscles, and don't need to shoot up 2 shots of roids pre workout or whatever

However, sometimes you NEED targeted muscle group focus because you were s dumbass and didnt train everything equal when training multiple groups.

The stereotype of the jock has been perpetuated by dorks who go into the arts. It isn't untrue but it also isn't the only experience with someone we would deem as Chad. There's merit in the idea because CNS gains are real but more often than not the average person won't get swole.
