How much do you interact at the gym? Are you actually friends who have frequent conversations, or do you admire her from afar?
If you are already friends, keep that up, and maybe workout together or near each other. That's actually a really great way to get to know each other without even formally asking her out, and it keeps things casual. If you have good chemistry, see if she wants to get coffee or something after the gym. She can turn you down without making things weird. If she's genuinely busy and can't, she'll reschedule for another time. If she's not interested, she will decline and leave it at that. As you go to the same gym, don't make it weird if she declines.

If you've never really talked to her and your first interaction is you asking her out, you'll seem like a creeper, because you're asking her out based on nothing but her looks and whatever fantasy you've contrived about her. Don't do this.

Need some advice please! Have I escaped skinnyfat yet? What should I work on? I don't feel like I'm slim enough to warrant a bulk yet, but not sure. Do I even look like I lift yet?

It’s November, at this point - you might as well clean/lean bulk (300kcal surplus) for the next 6 months, lay down some muscle and add some strength. Make progress every workout. Come April next year, go on a sensible 12 week cut and look shredded for the summer… no point cutting now into the winter and stalling your progress and anabolism… make the most of it

Yeah, feet up on bench, 20 ish lbs weight vest. I find them pretty hard to be honest, I’m usually getting 3 sets of about 8, reps lowering in rom towards the end,

Until I can get 3x10 clean sets I wouldn’t need to increase the weight vest

I’m working with pretty limited equipment at home, and my lower back doesn’t like barbell rows

If I had the choice of anything, it would be a chest supported selectorized row, using the close pronated grips… that’s the squeeze I’m trying to emulate, I use one of those on the occasion I’m in a public gym

The legit answer is to bulk. You have absolutely fuck all to cut down to, you'll just end up at concentration camp mode if you cut lol

You need to bulk, build muscle and get strong. And yes, during the bulk you will be a bit fat and look shit for a few months, but you just have to accept that. Can cut later and then look good. It's a long process to fix that bro, it took you a lifetime to end up at cursed alien mode so don't expect to fix it in just a few short months
