I've watched every single tutorial video on the internet, I just can't fucking do it. What the fuck is wrong with this exercise? Is this shit even worth it? How fucking strong do you have to be?

literally begginer exercise. You are also a novice with 8 pull ups. id say dont bother untill you can get 10 super clean pull ups (preferably 15) and 20 dips. other indicator would be like +40-50% BW pull up 1rm, no your BW is not an excuse because the big guys in pull up game tend to pull more than the ligther guys i.e you being big is you being fat in that case

It's not that hard and is mostly technique.
Use bands to learn the technique and take it slow otherwise you will fuck your shoulders up, like I did when learning it.
Spam negatives and explosive/high pullups. Focus on gaining strength whilst learning the technique with a band.
It took me a few months, starting from a five pullup base. When I finally got it, albeit with absolutely dogshit form, I was so fucking stoked.
Now I do no momentum, false grip muscle ups as my warmup for pull days.

Reasonable enough, but 1rm pull-ups are a recipe for injury, so I'd say stick to bodyweight pull-ups until you can do at least 10, then start training sets with +10kg and +20kg. Also do explosive pull-ups.

Anyway, it's mostly about technique.

I can do 8 pull ups with 15kg/33lbs hanging from me and I'm still learning proper muscle ups too. It's possible to get them with less strength, but it'll require a lot of momentum and will look shit. Proper ones take a lot more strength than you currently have.

Do weighted pull ups, once you can do 10 to 15kg of extra weights, you can do a muscle up.

Actually, a pushup starting from the floor is about 75% of your bodyweight and reduces to about 60% at the top of the rep.

so your 5 push ups is 100 kg for five, not 3 plate for 1
