I did just realize that everything I do is already broken into ppl already kinda (chest day is all push, back day is all pull, legs is cycling in an insanely hilly town- abs thrown in like 2x per week whenever they’re not sore).
Because of my work schedule I can only go 3-4 times per week. Wish it were more.
I think I need to get over my gym anxiety and also get faster/more efficient at working out, I only go at 2-3 in the morning when it’s empty (big college town- gym is fucking PACKED during the day) and dick around for like two and a half hours.
It’s cool because I can goof off and try whatever I want, though.
In the most polite way possible, your post also gave me hope that I can escape my wristlet genes, I didn’t realize that it was possible to grow your forearms that far out.
I’ve got these fucking drumsticks lmao, hopefully with more consistent hard work they’ll taper out further down like yours.
Like all things it’ll probably take a lot of time, but I have renewed hope.
Just gotta keep on keeping at it, I guess.

Sometimes when I’m really lacking I’ll just make sure my protein is where it needs to be and then I’ll stuff my face with 1500 calories of garbage.
Straight up, it’s nearly impossible to make myself eat as much as I’m recommended to without SOME junk food.
I also take a few bites of ice cream when I get up to take a leak in the middle of the night.

For example, if you stuffed your face with 1,500 calories of Twinkies, that's markedly worse than 1,500 calories of potato chips. Twinkies have like a thousand different ingredients, tons of sugar, preservatives, hyglycemic carbohydrates, and other nasty crap. It's not based around any particular food, While on the other hand, potato chips are literally just thinly sliced potato fried in oil. I feel like mini wheats probably have a lot of preservatives, but not as many as snack cakes and shit.
Peanut butter is also gud, I can house a lot of that but there’s still a ton of not great oils in it and I absolutely can’t afford any all natural stuff as it is never BOGO.
HOWEVER:
I haven’t heard anything about sabotaging my gains.
None of that shit affects protein synthesis, and I’m basically only sabotaging my body’s longevity, right?
These are calories my body can still easily convert into energy, I’m just fucking up my cholesterol?
Because I can live with that.

Leg lifts, crunches, wipers, etc. I also like to do one handed stuff when I can, but I pretty limited with those since I don't have dumbbells. I've been a big fan of using the landmine attachment for presses/rows, so I'm sure that's helped somewhat too.

I haven’t been using an app lately, just doing whatever exercises I feel like/ have time for (minding the pseudo-ppl schedule) as heavy as I can pull off through that system.
Which is weird, shit fluctuates a little.
Not so much that I have to deload, but some days managing 10 reps is easy and others 8 is a struggle.
It might be wether or not I’ve taken creatine, but this board is somewhat divided on that being placebo or not.
I feel like it helps.
