what is the difference between the sugars in fruit vs the sugars in candy or soda? Why won’t I get fat if I eat fruit but I will get fat if I candy?

Yes I already know fruit has actual vitamins and nutrients in it, I’m not talking about that. I’m asking specifically about the sugar/carbohydrates

Its hard to eat, lets say 1k calories, of fruit. Its very easy to eat 1k calories of candy. That's the difference, both fat you up the same, but it would take like 40 bananas versus a few candy bars.
