Anyone else love pendulum squats? Ever since I started doing them, my quads have exploded in size and my barbell squat continues to go up week after week. I can currently do 4 plates for 10 reps, but am hoping to hit 5 by the end of the year.
>>76846168Never seen one of those machines in my life. I think I'll just stick to barbell squats.
>>76846195They seem to be pretty hard to find in a lot of commercial gyms it seems. Pendulum squats are a better version of hack squats imo. They're great for both hypertrophy and strength. They are not a replacement to barbell squats tho
I'm going to a new gym that has one, I like it so far but I haven't used it more than twice. In Nippard, we trust
I might like this. I can’t do regular squats because of claustrophobia
>>76846168I wish my gym had it. I tried it once on vacation, it's awesome.
>>76846168I'm a big pendulum squat fan, love that I can go to failure and they feel better than hack squats
belt squats. requires nothing but a dip belt, blocks to stand on and plates. safest squat possible. can be performed anywhere virtually.
>>76848213oh yeah those are sick as well. I remember doing them after I busted my back deadlifting. saw some gains, but ultimately went back to pendulum squats and leg extensions as my accessories since they worked better and didn't destroy my hips when going heavy
