I live in orange county and we have one of the biggest "social" run clubs in Newport Beach that I go to so as far as "meeting women" goes, I think I have the most realistic take on it.The majority of the hot women there all come in groups of 3-5+ so your chances of meeting and talking to them are slim to none unless you bring your own group of 3-5 rooners and chat them up at the social bar event afterwards. You can't just be "good" at running, you have to be exceptional at it otherwise you'll just be another face in the crowd. Even if I took a more rigorous approach to running (i.e. setup dedicated sprint/base days) these kind of grinds are rarely worth it if they do not directly contribute to the end goal.I don't even find the competitive female runner body type very attractive but some of the casual runners/hiker types are pretty hot.
