>be 24 yr old me with a chill job
>Want to start dating cause it's a convenient time of my life
>Dread the thought of joining (((dating apps)))
>regularly run 5-7 miles at ~8 min/mile with no desire to go longer/faster

Is it worth it to join a running club just to meet girls? I have zero interest in having other guy friends and also I like running alone. But I don't have any hobbies and don't enjoy social outings so my options for meeting people are few. This is the only thing I can think of other than tinder where I can leverage what I have in life to meet girls. Is this a death trap or an actually feasible idea?

My gf used to go to a running club but stopped doing it because of Indians doing this "dating strategy"

I hate jeets so much and certainly don't want to run with them. In the area I live groups of them stand around in the middle of the sidewalk/trail and don't move when they see you coming. Annoying as fuck.

Just push them out of the way.

idk I lived in weird places (Austin, Asheville, Boulder) and all the running clubs were strangely cliquey. Dunno if my experience is representative of most places.

How do you learn to run with a good gait? My form is so dogshit people have commented it throughout my entire life.

Any type of social setting is better than dating apps.

I never got more pussy then when I ignored women and just tried to make male friends

I think it's a fine way to learn to socialise a bit at least. Been a long time since I was in one but I fucked a girl who mentioned it sometimes and it's a lot more social than it used to be, like everyone's exchanging contact info and sharing their runs and all. Not my thing and it'll make your training worse but if you just run for fun essentially, sure

if your town/city has indians, it's time to switch running clubs for murder clubs

Having guy friends is a great way to get girls, as long as the guy friends aren't losers. If you have group hang outs and their SOs like you they'll try to set you up all the time.

Yea man Running clubs are great though

none of them are virgins so who cares. They're the leftover trash some other guy threw away. I'm supposed to bankroll that for the rest of my life?
>>

The only people who care about virgins are guys that know they can't satisfy a woman so they have to find naive idiots who don't understand that sex is supposed to provide gratification. Just get better man, it's very easy to get good at sex. You're limiting your dating pool to weirdos and teenagers because of your own inadequacy hahaha
>>

lmao the roastie cope begins. Non-virgins by definition are thrown away women. Thrown away probably 50 times by the time college ends. When you bang one it means you're fucking someone that wasn't good enough for someone else (but she's good enough for you, eh bub?) Low-status.

Not to mention if she ever conceived by accident or whatever, then the previous male genetics are a permanent part of her. So any kids you ever have with her are not totally yours.

>being this committed to dying alone
probably for the best, we don't need more mental illness in the gene pool.

>Are running clubs a viable alternative to (((dating apps))) for meeting women?
no

but running groups are

the difference is
one is competitive
one is casual
you're only going to meet women in the latter one

never been in one
but there's one meeting every sunday like 100m away from my balcony
from what I can tell it's ~60% women
typically late 20s or 30s

you talk like a woman. stfu.

>Is it worth it to join a running club just to meet girls?
No, they're shit mostly. I live in orange county and we have one of the biggest "social" run clubs in Newport Beach that I go to so as far as "meeting women" goes, I think I have the most realistic take on it.
The majority of the hot women there all come in groups of 3-5+ so your chances of meeting and talking to them are slim to none unless you bring your own group of 3-5 rooners and chat them up at the social bar event afterwards.
You can't just be "good" at running, you have to be exceptional at it otherwise you'll just be another face in the crowd. Minimum 7 min pace for 5 miles.
>if they're so shit why do you go?
They're actually a decent place to meet friends that aren't absolute degenerates, which is what you need sometimes. Plus I love mogging the twinks (no homo) running a 6 min mile pace at 220.

Yeah I meant the non-competitive type whatever you call it. I am a somewhat tall pretty skinny guy who is not competitive minded. Even if I took a more rigorous approach to running (i.e. setup dedicated sprint/base days) these kind of grinds are rarely worth it if they do not directly contribute to the end goal.
I don't even find the competitive female runner body type very attractive but some of the casual runners/hiker types are pretty hot.
