You got a point and I sometimes have moments like that too where a DB slides and the wrist hurts for a minute but won't I get reliant on it? Like squatting in the smith machine?
I'm sure it's a good idea for PRs but idk how common this is from just normal measly weights

Yeah I'm old but I started using them once I hit about 265 on bench. They're nice on OHP as well.
