He probably means he eats 50-60g of protein that he counts as in 1 protein shakes and some chicken he cooked for dinner.. not realsiing the mcdouble he ate, the beans he ate, the cheese he ate, the yoghurt he ate and loads of other stuff adds up to like 120g in a day without trying if you eat a decent diet

Building muscle and maintaining muscle have very different requirements
The amount of protein needed to build muscle is made pushed and made by roidtrannies for roidtrannies who have a 500% increase in metabolism and muscle growth thanks to roids.As a natty, 80-120g (depending on height) is the ceiling.Once you dive in deeper, you'll also understand that supplements are bullshit (since you get everything from a proper diet) and that training 2-3 times a week is more than enough, but I'm getting off track here.

Carbs are definitely gonna help most people more, but keeping protein high then refilling it so youre always building muscle and always recovering is gonna get you pretty far for example 60g for breakfast, 2 30g small protein milkshakes, some ramen and 2 eggs(cholesterol) pwo twice, and another 2-3 meals of chicken pork steak veg and carbs and soda/oj etc to keep carbs high intra workout. You can't go wrong with 150-250 depending on muscle mass but that usually just means you aren't eating as many carbs as protein is satiating, also carbs like pasta or potatoes are often with butter/evoo and fats are a huge gains booster. You'll learn your metabolism good luck take progress pics just gymrat and eat a ton then you won't be in starvation mode. That shit will absolutely buttfuck your gains get fat then dial it back less than be lean and add like 200 cals to one meal and it rehydrates you and makes you look fat, you were always that fat just eating more carbs, having more salt+nutrients, and water+water retention are gonna bloat you up that's what you want for gains just need to keep nutrients high and thats basically what I'm on for diet and if i flexed I'm just about roided tier.
