Hours I usually cap it at 7.5 mph I can run faster but above there it seems like a minor decrease in pace could be a accident.

I run faster outside. Just do your speed work it matters a lot.

My HR is barely above 65% of max at that speed

7.5mph is only 8 minute miles to even qualify for most marathons you'd need to be able to run for three hours at under 7 minute miles...
