I lost a shit ton weight by eating less than 1500 calories a day. It feels hard to overeat as an adult, but I easily overate as a child. Does anyone else had or have this problem?
>>76871390I was born to overeat. If I keep a lot of carbs in my diet I just keep eating and don't get full. It is easier to control as an adult, but only because I limit my diet and have the willpower. I can still fall off the wagon and eat pizza and sandwiches and noodles and feel my metabolism just start fucking up. But I choose not to do that. Calorie counting has never worked, but I find that on low-carb I probably just naturally eat fewer calories because I don't get hungry and snack. 1,500 is pretty low for a man. Of course you'll lose a shit ton of weight, but it's unsustainable. You'll end up going overboard in the other direction and gaining it back plus more. Just eat 300 calories fewer than you're supposed to and you'll lose it gradually and keep it off and be less hungry. 2,200 should be enough of a deficit depending on how active you are.
>>76871442You’re an idiot with no willpower, I’ve been sub 1500 for the last 4 months. Your body will adjust to the hunger over time.
>>76871449Kek I lost 40 pounds in 5 months. I was used to the hunger until I wasn't and then I ended up fatter than where I started. It's better to just take it slow
>>76871449You say that now. You're just not there yet. I thought I was so powerful and invincible when I was in the zone, the honeymoon period of the diet, right where you are. You may even keep it up a year or more. But the fact that you were so overweight in the first place is all I need to know to determine your future on this path. I did the same thing as you the first time, right after high school when I was sick of missing out on everything. So confident. Cocky even. Especially after I started getting laid. Cut to 9 months later and I'm back into my 2XL clothes and getting even fatter. I'm you of the future telling you to watch out. Trouble ahead.>>76871471Yep, it happens to everyone down to a man. The only time I've been able to keep weight off was to do it slowly by eating a lot of fat and vegetables and meat and then not going back on carbs. I don't have another ballooning and weight loss in me.
>>76871530Yup I'm on here because I wanted to fix what happened to me. It's easy to get addicted to seemingly fast + easy results but ultimately it ended up being a massive waste of time and I would've been farther along had I been patient. Slow and steady wins the race they say.
>>76871449food is different for everyone. For some people cutting is easy and for others it's practically impossible and then bulking is almost effortless for some people then for other people it's hard. I myself am a former fat ass and food is definitely something I think about way too much. it is the highlight of my day when I'm finally able to eat my big one meal a day after I get off work. I hope Ozempic becomes more widespread and safe so people who are at a healthy weight are able to have it because I'm just so sick of the food noise.
>>76872743Are you the 'god bless' guy?OMAD is fucking retarded. It's why you have two week cheating benders where you gain more than you lose eating once a day.
>>76871390its what I'm doing right now. 3 eggs, two toast, and a pot pie for dinner. 1500 calories in one day. rinse and repeat same meal every day. take some vitamins and you're all set.
