Get the stainless. Buy once cry once. Cerakote a decent backup option.
>>
>>76875003
Just picked up a Rep Double Black Diamond in stainless but only used it once. Have been using a Rogue OPB for the last 6 years. Not enough time using the Rep bar to make any real comments but it seems well made. Stay away from American Barbell unless you like weak knurling. I have an AB Mammoth bar and rarely use it.

It’s a great bar, you can’t go wrong with it. I have had the ecoat version for 3 years now in a semi-climate controlled garage gym: no rust, very few scratches, spins like new, and the grip, while not as good as some of the other finishes Rogue offers, is solid. Basically zero maintenance.

just starting with buying stuff for home gym, what's a good set of dumbbells to start, I usually use 30-35lbs
are adjustable dumbbells worth it or just a meme? should I just buy one weight and increase reps?
>>
>>76879218
>to start
That mindset will cost you a lot more money in the long run. Don't buy cheap lightweight garbage if you seriously plan on sticking to lifting for the long term. You want a good pair of adjustables, since buying an entire set of fixed is absurd. At minimum 70-80 pounds to start with, ideally able to be expanded to over 100lbs in the future. Ironmasters, rep x peppins, powerblocks are all very good. I have and prefer the former.

5-100 will get you there. Adjustable dumbbells are only if you don't have the space. If you want to upgrade from those look at the American Barbell urethane dumbbells. Those are joocy af.

That costs more than my entire home gym. For less than a third of that you can have the ironmasters that go up to 120lbs and even have 2.5lb increments.
>>
>>76879243
yeah I should have clarified, by "to start", I mean I'm going to be buying more shit over time, but what dumbbells first
I want good dumbbells, willing to spend more for quality, I've heard good things about powerblocks, I'll look at ironmasters
I'm more inclined to get adjustable, but a little hesitant because I have a friend that broke his foot from the lock coming loose and the weight falling on their foot, but they might just be a retard or have a shit brand

If you have space, buy a 5-50 set and add on later. If not, get powerblock, ironmaster, or peppins fast.

Your home gym sounds very modest.
>>
>>76879663
Hardly. Rogue ohio bar stainless steel, over 500lbs of plates, 120lb set of ironmasters and a metal table for them off amazon, half rack with pullup bar and plate storage off amazon, adjustable rep bench, several horse stall mats, other miscellanous small shit. It's probably above average from what I've seen here, a bit over 3 grand. I get nice stuff, I just don't burn money on dumb shit.
>>
Wasn't trying to be a dick. Nice lil setup you got there. I don't consider a fixed dumbbell set to be dumb shit though if you have the space.

If you are on a budget,
stick with spinlock 1" dumbbell sets.
Easy to get used everywhere.

If you are starting to build and invest your homegym,
and money is not super strict,
def start with a good powerblock style set.

Some powerblocks are even on sale right now for [US]
people.

I wish I could have bought powerblocks from the very start.
I also don't own property, so keeping my gym setup small but powerful is important to me.

Total space is 10'x10'. The half rack was $340 from amazon, and for that price I think it is very nice. 3x3, 11 guage steel, 5'8" holes, second uprights for plates, fits in the low ceiling I had to work with. It arrived scuffed up from shipping, but I was expecting that. If you want to hold onto the pullup bar anywhere besides the outside handles you really need gloves.
The only problem is the company who makes it is fucking trash. You better hope to god every single part arrives and you don't have to contact their customer service. I was just missing one of the rubber feet, the easiest and cheapest thing you could ship, and it took them weeks to acknowledge the problem and send a replacement part that was the wrong fucking size. If anthing serious is missing then don't assemble it, send the whole thing back through amazon refund.

I let myself go after college and find that my main bottleneck to getting my consistency back is that there are zero gyms that are within a decent driving distance of me since I live in a city.

I've began building my home gym with some local deals on adjustable dumbbells etc, but was wondering what you guys recommend for finding cheap plates to load onto the machines / bars that I'm beginning to accumulate. Is fb marketplace the best option if I'm on a budget or is a site like temu worth checking out. Also open to other tips thanks
>>
>>76880619
Yeah, Chinese exporters always do that shit. Most people don’t realize a lot of the popular brands that get shilled here are mostly just middlemen between you and a chink who do a little design work on the side.
>>76881004
>zero gyms
Really, there are no close gyms to you in a city environment? Hard to believe. Are you in some former eastern bloc country or something? My advice would be to try harder to find a gym you can join, to test your consistency. So many people buy home gym equipment and let it rot because they find out it’s hard to motivate themselves to train at home.
>fb marketplace

I used to train with my step father during COVID so I'm no stranger to getting amped up at home.

>no stranger to getting amped up at home
Perfect, then. You are already well beyond the kind of person I was thinking you were from your post. Good.

I would try marketplace first before Amazon. You could get top equipment for a good deal rather than relying on Amazon (which is also temu chinkshit most of the time, just with better marketing).

>>76885619
That’s a good gym, very respectable.
>>76886499
I’ve never seen a folding bench that covers the other requirements you listed. Try Rogue manta ray or one of the similar Rep ones.
>>76886612
>black zinc
How does that feel? I debated about getting one years ago but went with a more corrosion-resistant finish for convenience.
>>
>>76886763
I have a freak athlete hyper pro and think it’s a pretty good buy. None of its functions is a perfect substitute for a dedicated machine, but you can’t beat the versatility and efficiency of storing it upright. They used thinner steel, so it can wobble slightly sometimes, but its floor stability is 100% and I’ve never had a concern using it—think I’m just used to overbuilt Rogue stuff. Shogun is good, too, just fewer things you can do with it. Being able to do 90* back extensions and nordics on the same machine is great. I recommend you get the leg developer attachment if you want to leg extensions and curls. Setup very easy.
>>
How do you go hard without a spotter?
>>
>>76886938
Knurl on Rep Double Black Diamond is my favorite so far (own an Ohio Power Bar crerakote & AB Mammoth Bar). Its grippy but not sharp or painful. Kind of perfect.
>>
>>76887273
For bench press just dont use collars and dump weight if you get stuck. Don't get stuck under a ton of band tension in your home gym because that might kill you if you have the bands on the sleeves outside the plates.

This thing is about 400 bucks. Now I'm not retarded I know it won't be high quality but I'm wondering if it's still worth getting it for stuff like pushdowns and curls and laterals. It comes with 75kg of weight but idk if it's a 1:1 or 2:1 pulley ratio or whatever. Another point of concern is that usually these mega budget pulley machines are plate loaded so they can save money by not providing weights and this isn't despite being dirt cheap.

Should I get it? The choices are either get this or get nothing, I'm not going to spend 1000 on a better one for various reasons. Also, I'm not in the US so I don't have access to any of the 1 billion budget models you guys have.
>>
>>76897187
>get this or get nothing
Nothing. Save for something better than generic chinkshit. At least go for an upper-level chinkshit maker like Titan. A better bet is get a good rack or even a squat stand with pull-up bar atracked and get something like a Spud two-pulley system, which would be more durable than what you posted.
>plate loaded
Not a concern, many good 1:1’s out there use plates.
>location
If you’re in Europe or ME, you have access to a lot of good stuff.
>>
>>76897278
What I meant about the plate loaded thing is that it NOT being plate loaded is another red flag considering how cheap it is. I'm in Europe but not in the EU so options are comically limited. I actually think this tower is made locally by the company that sells it. Their showroom is close by so I might just go see it in person but you're probably right that I shouldnt get it.
>>
>>76897285
Yeah, go to the showroom and try it out how you’d really use it. If it’s good, then your calculus might change. Otherwise, sounds like joining a gym is a better bet for you if access to home equipment is so limited.
>>
>>76897187
If you can get one that that takes plates its great for a startup machine. You can do like 80% of the things you would want to do

Bro you can get a power cage or wall mounted bench/safety like picrel for ~$100.

I'm firmly on team barbell/dumbell combo (and also don't have a spotter so I always use my safeties and have a 0% chance to ack). If you don't want to go the barbell route you can get a used set of powerblocks which will do most of the same movements but it costs more to go that way and it's annoying to get into position once you get up to the higher weights by yourself.
>>
>>76886499
Don't bother with a folding bench, just get an adjustable bench that stands up vertically when not in use. It saves just as much floor space.

Rep nighthawk. It has attachment spots for other things like you want.

My home gym as of black friday. Rack with lat pulldown/seated row attachment, safety arms so I don't die like a brazilian boomer, new bar, two extra 20kg plates. Just waiting for the bench which should have come yesterday.

And yes, anon who was mesmerised by the pillow, it is still there just not in the photo.
>>
>>76897682
I've only seen the safety arms for half racks. Was that sold with the rack or separate? Usually you'd get safeties that extend to each side so there isnt a gap.

Looks good tho
>>
>>76897695
The place I bought it sells the base rack and then a variety of attachments, like the lat pulldown attachment, the safety arms I got, or the straps for squat safety. They also sell a bunch of things like functional trainer attachements, jammer arms, all that stuff. About the only other thing I want though is the dip attachment.

The safety arms I got are nearly the full length of the cage. About twice as long as those for half racks like >>76897515 and are easily long enough for me to bench and squat without death and shit. Them and the j hooks are super fast to move too. Moving them is more fun than it should be.

A 12kg bar and a plate tree because loading the bar in a narrow room like that is a pain in the ass. If you rack if like mine you can narrow it down and use the bar with it, if it's not at least you will be more comfortable doing rows/dls/curls/ohp.
A big fan probably that looks like it would get steamy lifting let alone doing cardio

I've got a good 15cm between the bar and each wall, plus the room is not square (it get wider the more i back up) so it's not that bad, plus the rack cant get narrower. Thank you for the suggestion anyways, the fan is a good idea i will get one

Unless you want to do some HIIT, the bike is not worth the hasle
Walking pad is cheaper, takes less space, some of them are pretty quiet, and it's a nice warm up before gymming

anyone go from home gym back to regular gym successfully?
I've got a project car/motorbike so a lot of my garage space is taken up by vehicles, then you also have to count yard equipment and storage.
I fucking hate people so I'm a bit worried about how it'll go but I get a good discount on membership through my work. plus it'll be nice to have air conditioning in the summer here in australia.

Yes, I’ve done it. A few people ask this question in these threads occasionally. The key is to find a gym where people are serious about their training, that’s what I did. You’re less likely to be bothered by anyone, and chances are the equipment will be much better than a typical gym. Only downside is these places tend to cost a lot more, but ime it’s been totally worth the cost. My place is open 24/7/365, tons of great equipment, and the other members aren’t retarded. It feels like a quasi-home gym.

If you have the flexibility to buy either of those, go with the Rogue. It’s overall better quality. The pulleys are smoother, and the lat seat isn’t that much more onto the overall price. I’ve used both: Rep is okay, but I read anecdotes all the time about quality issues with them. I know people ballwash them a lot (coop), but at the end of the day they just import stuff from China. You can find a lot of the stuff they offer for lower prices from other importers (Vulcan lol, titan, etc.)

Qdyomoz-Zwift (QZ) is an app that you can use to control your treadmill from your phone/whatever using bluetooth. It has a list of compatible treadmills, you can check for cheap ones.
https://github.com/cagnulein/qdomyos-zwift/wiki/Equipment-Compatibility#treadmill-compatibility-table

I have it set up to run my custom workouts on my Horizon 7.0AT and record all the data including from my H10 and Stryd (used to have it set up to get those from my Garmin too). It has a bunch of features (like control based on heartrate) that I haven't personally tried.

Honestly, it was a bit tricky to figure out how to get it set up just right at first, so if you're a techlet it may not be for you. If you do end up needing help, obviously I can't guarantee I'll see your posts but I do lurk /hgg/ regularly. 5/8 is better. More precision adjustments, attachments aren’t gargantuan, but yes, you get more interoperability with attachments from different manufacturers, potentially. Can I get some advice on a beginner home gym setup?
Almost everything I do is with a barbell, so the obvious choice is to just get a squat rack. But the main things keeping me back are the space, and safety with kids around. My eldest once dropped a dumbbell on my wife's face, so I don't really like the idea of free weights at home.
It seems like there are lots of good and simple options for upper body lifts, and frankly I'd consider just getting a pair of Olympic rings and something to attach to my dip belt. But the kicker for me is lower body exercises. I'm not very strong (125kg 3x5 squat and 150kg 1x5 deadlift), but that's still enough that I need weight to properly work out my legs.

Are there any decent options for working out your lower body at home without a barbell setup? I'd genuinely consider something expensive like a Voltra, but even that wouldn't really go heavy enough without some workarounds. I already have some bands that I never use, and I can make basic things out of wood.
I guess I could just go with ring-assisted pistol squats and a nordstrap?

Regardless of what you do home gym-wise, you need to teach your kids how to not wreck themselves or others.

How old are they?

My nieces are 9 and 11. They are experienced monkeybar fiends and can do just about anything with their bodyweight. The first time they saw >>76897682 they wanted a go and were soon doing chinups, pulldowns and rows. No bench obviously, even with safety bars. They especially love the lat pulldown.

If you get a rack, which would be the obvious choice if "almost everything you do is with a barbell", then I say go for it. Just never leave the bar on the j-hooks when you're done, with or without plates loaded. That should be enough to prevent a kid smooshing their own head, because if they can rack the bar and put plates on it themselves, they're old enough to be taught how to do it safely.
>>
my home gym is now one (1) kettlebell, an elliptical, a chin-up bar, a pair of skechers running shoes I got on sale, and a single resistance band

the collection grows
>>
>>76927990
We have one that's a bit over two, and the second is due in April. We're aiming for 3-4, so for the next few years we'll always have kids at ages where they can't really be reasoned with. Our eldest is pretty big and active too, we have to deadbolt the front door to stop him from unlocking it and running out onto the road.
The problem isn't necessarily the barbell, it's the rack itself (if I got one of those folding ones), the plates and the accessories like the spotter arms, all of which would have to be stored somewhere. If I have a 20kg plate on the wall at his head height, he could absolutely pull it off onto himself. And I'd need 6+ plates.

It's also about the movements that I'd be doing. The dumbbell that he dropped on my wife was only 3kg when he was about 18mo old, and he did it when she was doing hip bridges. Anything which keeps us off the floor is a good thing, because it's pretty hilarious watching my wife try yoga and pilates with a baby climbing all over her.
>>
>>76927959
I don't have a Voltra but you can double the felt resistance to 400lb (1:2) but you need to do a bit of DIY. There's also a strong rumour that they are working on increasing the resistance to 250lb with a firmware update.

If you do go that route I'd suggest making a medium platform that'll allow for a voltra to slot in and then you can do belt squats and RDL/DL.
Or maybe just a pair of heavy adjustable DB and lock them in a box when done and rings suspended on your ceiling.
>>
>>76928144
Both seem like really good ideas. I had a look at the Voltra trick, and it seems pretty straightforward.
https://youtu.be/WjvXdfSH7YQ

Good point about the dumbbells too. Adjustable dumbbells at their maximum weight would be completely immovable for a kid, and I could double it up with a lock on the cradle if needed. That might actually be the way to go. I really don't want to waste tons of money on a piece of disposable tech that'll die in 5 years, but a good pair of dumbbells would last forever and I'd be able to expand on them later.
>>
>>76928018
Don't get a fold-out rack, get a wall mounted half rack or something. The spotter arms stay on the rack. Your kid won't be able to move them.

Get a weight plate tree like the triangular one in >>76897682 for plate storage. You have to lift and slide the plates to get them off, not just pull them. He won't be able to do shit to them on there, no matter what sort of absolute unit 2-year-old he is.
>>
>>76928018
Is there a way you can make the gym inaccessible to them? If they can’t be reasoned with, that’s what I’d do until they can be. You could also just join a gym, but I realize with so many young kids at home, that would mean you and the wife would have to work out some schedule on which you could each train while the other watches kids.
>>76928196
Also a very good idea. Half racks are very stable. You can also get extended feet for them to further prevent any movement from people swinging on them.

>>
>>76928287
>Is there a way you can make the gym inaccessible to them?
Probably not. We don't have a dedicated space for it, so it'll be in the lounge room.

>some schedule on which you could each train while the other watches kids
This is what we do now. I'm either running or lifting 5-6 days per week, I just do it at 5:30 am before they wake up. She lifts once a week if she's lucky, and she won't be able to continue it for a long time after the baby's born. It just feels a bit unfair leaving a breastfed baby without their mother for an hour or more at a time, even if you express some milk beforehand.

I think I'll go with the dumbbells. Probably Trulap, but I'll also look up some reviews for others like Rep x Pepin. But I'll ease into it, starting with just some rings to get her into the habit of regular exercise. I'll keep going to the commercial gym for now, supplementing it with the home gym when I can't make it there. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Assume everything is made in China unless otherwise indicated and verified. The sick thing thing is a lot of “made in the USA” labels are a complete lie: all the parts get made somewhere else, ship here, then some fat fag in a warehouse does some minimal assembly and slaps a USA sticker on it. Arsenal Strength got in trouble a short while ago for doing exactly that while advertising that they were making everything domestically. Very cynical.

Piggybacking - Any thoughts on 90" vs 100" and 250 vs 300 pound stack? I doubt I see myself needing more than 250, but my sons might need the three hundo someday. And for just a bit more, seems more convenient than using bands and/or gym pin.
I thought of just doing a functional trainer, probably not Rogue, but decided against because I don't even do two handed cable movements. Figured I'd go the fancy 3-in-1 styles everyone's doing and hoped someone here had experience/inputs on it.
>>
>>76935748
90” will be fine for majority of people. If you’re going to invest that much in a Rogue machine (cost + tax + shipping), might as well go for the 300lb stack, since it’s only an extra $100 ($2/lb, which is pretty standard).
>>
>>76879218
Go for adjustable dumbells. No reason to buy a Block, unless you plan to work out with multiple people. Also if you just do curls with them 24kg will last a long while.

Fun fact: if you're a fit dude and do any amount of serious sprinting your legs are going to be dealing with a lot more than a measly 500 pounds and you'll be training calves and feet too

The only thing I've ever seen them used for is little girls using them to stretch and warm up before gymnastics.

Swedish wall bars, pretty sure every European school gymnasium has them. They're good for training core, GOATed for stretching and band stuff
you can do nordic curls in them, the top bar or group of them is forward from the rest so you can do pull ups (I'd like it a little bit further outside than they usually are). I hadn't thought about putting one in my home gym but that sounds like a great idea.
>>
>>76937842
...why wouldn't it be? You can build that yourself for next to nothing.

The walking pad I can see, if you’re going to use it a lot for a standing desk, etc., but my god don’t waste your money on a traditional treadmill. Been there, done that: I mostly end up doing cardio outside while that thing just sits and takes up space. Assault bikes are much better imo, especially if you get a really good seat.

>Swedish wall bars, pretty sure every European school gymnasium has them
Ah, ok. American here, that explains why I didn’t recognize them—if you those in a school here, there’d be a lawsuit happening before the install was finished lol.

*put those

It's just not a gym without those.

Any advice on a free standing pull up bar? Should be available in Europe and take up as little space as possible. Easy fold-up is a plus but not required
It's basically all I need to finish my mini garage gym
>>
>>76938833
Most of the equipment in your picrel isn’t even allowed in American public school gyms because
>American children are increasingly obese (and brown)
>decades of (((litigation))) have made liability such a concern that it would too expensive for the schools to keep them.
>>76938842
>free standing pull-up bar
Bullbar, maybe. It folds up. If you can suspend gymnastic rings from your ceiling or something, those would be superior both in difficulty and space savings.
>>
>>76938833

There's one near me but the problem is that one can only attend there in conjunction with courses - there's no option to just work out.

Good evening frens.
Tomorrow the big day, I'm going back to lifting weights. 4 weeks ago I snapped a tendon in my right forearm and for over a week, I couldn't even hold a pencil properly. I didn't bothered doing any for of physical activity, so I'm pretty excited.
Have a nice weekend frens, those /hgg/ threads are are, in my opinion, one of the few things that keeps this board going.
Your fellow disco ball anon.

Thanks, today was really nice, a light HIIT get things started. Everything was ok, gonna do this 3 or 4 times and then switch to PPL.
The contraption I made is a poor copy of this guy's creation:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/C95tuNGSSSs/?igsh=YnhrcWF0bHBuaWl5
It lets overgrip and undergrip wrist curls and forearm supination.
I'm not a welder, so I made a wooden frame, bought some 1 1/4" and 1/2 inch plumbing pipes and a teflon block that works as a dry bearing. It looks dumb, but 3-4 sets makes my forearms burn like crazy, and the pump, the pump is insane.

Doing squats and bench presses are a bitch. Does anyone know which racks that are small enough to fit in a tiny room?

you mean squat stands, but be careful I've seen too many webms of people dying at home using them

I live in a 400 sf 1 bed condo. At my dad’s house I have a rack bench etc everything. I’m going to sell it all. I have closet space to store some equipment. I plan to take my bench (just the bench) and use the money to invest in adjustable dumbbells.

What else should I get? Can I do all I need with just some adjustable dumbbells and maybe a weighted vest?
I was thinking of just
>chest
Bench
Incline bench
Push-ups and push-up variations
Pull overs
>arms
Curls and variations
Skull crushers
Pullovers
Tricep push backs or whatever they’re called
>shoulders
Felt flies
Lu raises
Db shoulder press
Upright rows
Shrugs
>back
Rows
Pullups chin-ups
Pullovers
>legs
Lunges
Squats
Farmer walks
Stairs

Will probably be back dominate. Surely I can be fine with just dumbbells?
>>
>>76944533
This isn’t a split those are just the movements I would do. There wouldn’t be dedicated days.
>day 1
Back movement
Chest movement
Back movement
>day 2
Leg movement
Arm movement
Back movement
>day 3
Shoulder movement
Arm movement
Chest movement
Back movement

Would probably just do that indefinitely every 1-2 days occasionally take 3 days off if I need it.

>>76944533
>Surely I can be fine with just dumbbells?

>>
>>76944533
You will probably be fine. Dumbbells will limit your ability to overload and progress, eventually. Even if you buy the heaviest adjustables out there (I’ve seen up to 165lbs per dumbbell), you will get to a point where they’re very unwieldy. Keep the rack.
>>
>>76946496

Just did some flat bench with my 120 lb dumbbells in the home gym yesterday. Half the workout is getting them up to your knees. Got these on OfferUp for like $60, but the cost of DB over 100 lbs (my set is 5 - 100 lbs) is very cost prohibitive.
>>
got meself some versas and had the first deadlift workout since basically the very beginning where my grip wasn't fucking limitting. Great stuff
didn't really affect my upright rows aside from maybe preventing me from cheating
>>
What to do for cardio at home if I dont have room for a threadmill nor for a static bike ?

>>76947406
Ironmasters go up to 175lbs per dumbbell if you get their base 75lbs set and every upgrade kit (120, 165, heavy handles).
>half the workout is getting them up to your knees
Not to mention that even the most compact dumbbells that heavy will be wide enough to limit rom and hard to keep stable.
>>
>>76948831
>>76947406
Second on the ironmasters, they are a real no brainer over trying to buy and store an entire set of fixed dumbbells in a home gym. I have them up to 120lbs, extremely durable. You will want a sturdy table about waist height to comfortably assemble them and to store all of their plates.
For benching heavy with dumbbells I also recommend dumbbell powerhooks, but that requires a barbell and rack to hang them on. The powerhooks are great for flat bench, but I find them too awkward for incline and seated ohp. Incline I just do barbell, and ohp I power clean them up which I can still do decently for 65lbs.
>>
>>76949258
Yeah, Ironmasters are indestructible, I’ve been absolutely abusing mine for a decade and they still look and feel brand new. I have no idea why people waste their money on these fancy adjustables just for le supersetting lol.

Hello I finally joined home gym master race
I got rack, bench, barbell and plates.
1. Am I missing anything

2. This is my rack:
https://www.gymmaster.co.uk/collections/power-cages/products/power-rack-cage
Did I make a bad choice?

These are the plates:
https://originfitness.com/products/gym-division-olympic-plates?variant=51576835211610
They kinda suck they are rubber and seems to bulge in some places and the 25kg plates are covered in some shit that won't come of with just wet wipes it's white idk i'll have to clean it properly soon and the rest were covered in what seemed like dust or something but I wiped the rest up I got in kg a pair of these:
25 20 20 15 10 5 2.5 1.25
so 197.5kg total + 20kg for barbell
3. Did I mess up by getting these plates in any way?

Barbell:
https://originfitness.com/products/gym-division-20kg-olympic-weightlifting-bar?variant=51252168130906
Bench:
https://originfitness.com/products/origin-alpha-multi-adjustable-bench?variant=51569807294810
4. I think these two are fine the bench is nice and idk much about barbells it's just a barbell idk I didn't really do much research I just saw the cheap price tag and it was 20kg and 7ft, max weight is 4 plates, I don't imagine I will go above that though, the bench max was 180kg max including user weight that is kinda bad though if I want to hit 3 plates.

broke student btw I put it in my parents living room lol and they want me to move it to the garden which is shittily sheltered but I don't want it to rust and get dirty
5. Is it ok to put the rack and plates outside but move bench and barbell inside when I'm done (still don't want to but just wondering how bad is it if I do)
