How important is it to keep your elbows absolutely pinned to your side doing curls for muscle growth? Basically everybody I see doing them at the gym moves them significantly, and when I try to not move them at all it lowers the amount of weight I can curl significantly.

Bro I get sick gains doing standing bb and/or db preachers on rest days so I can bulk more, you can do em every 1-2 days. Try some curls/forearm curls off to the side like a lateral raise and keep your elbow up. Different humerus angles activate different fibers creating a different peak. If you want sick biceps(arms(delts)) just do triceps all the time. And delts you can also hit all the time just not fucking up your shoulder is hard ya know twist it to neutral.

Try doing a curl where you keep it close to your chest and brace on the wall and angle your shoulder so it hits different bicep fibers
