A jewish lie.
What was their "proof" of your pre-diabetus?
How do you feel at the moment?
Do you feel better now than before?

>change doesn't fully erase the consequences of the past
Welcome to the real world. Christianity really did a number on people, making them believe consequences disappear the moment you start being a good boy.

Or more simply the doctor is a tard and doesn't understand A1C or red blood cell glycation.

Beetus isn't hard to diagnose and there's no guarantee that a sudden dramatic change in lifestyle will definitely prevent diabetes in a prediabetic. Occam's razor, it's more likely years of OP's shitty lifestyle simply caught up and he can't outrun them at this point.
>>
>>76887157
Sure but pre-betus isn't a real thing. If you abstain from sugar, and then take a test to see how well you metabolize exogenous glucose, obviously you're not going to be well adapted for it.
And things like A1C can be affected by other variables that affect the longevity of your red blood cells.
https://elifesciences.org/articles/69456
This is why it's important to analyze the lifestyle, and how the patiente presents before you start having a beetus melty and prescribing life ruining drugs, which trained chimp medniggers love to do.

This. I hope you didn't do keto bullshit anon. You should have went plant based at least for a few months.

Yep, it's worse than sugar for your liver fat.

>We overfed 38 overweight subjects (age 48 ± 2 years, BMI 31 ± 1 kg/m2, liver fat 4.7 ± 0.9%) 1,000 extra kcal/day of saturated (SAT) or unsaturated (UNSAT) fat or simple sugars (CARB) for 3 weeks. We measured IHTG (1H-MRS), pathways contributing to IHTG (lipolysis ([2H5]glycerol) and DNL (2H2O) basally and during euglycemic hyperinsulinemia), insulin resistance, endotoxemia, plasma ceramides, and adipose tissue gene expression at 0 and 3 weeks.

>Overfeeding SAT increased IHTG more (+55%) than UNSAT (+15%, P < 0.05). CARB increased IHTG (+33%) by stimulating DNL (+98%). SAT significantly increased while UNSAT decreased lipolysis. SAT induced insulin resistance and endotoxemia and significantly increased multiple plasma ceramides. The diets had distinct effects on adipose tissue gene expression.

Going from very very fat to very fat doesn't help with pre-diabetes
You just have to stop being fat

Yeah. Maybe use your brain next time? But meatheads and brains... meh.

It returns to normal after a week. I've done so many long term keto cuts and never had a problem.
Eating no fat, however, can and will destroy your gallbladder for good if you go long enough, and even in a less bad case you'll still get bile sludge which fucking sucks.

>>76887097
That sucks. I hope you get some answers as to why. Don't take this as an invitation to undo your progress though. If you hadn't taken any action, your pre-diabetes might have become full-blown diabetes by now.
>>76887143
You can't guage the severity of pre-diabetes based on how you feel. By the time you feel it, you're already irreversibly damaged.
>>76887146
The effect you're describing in Christianity is more a symptom than a cause. More generally, it's a fetish created around immediately-observable measurement. It's why people are so bad at anticipating long term consequences, especially involving things they cannot directly measure.
This isn't to say this is human nature though, we are definitely capable of understanding hidden variables, and those of us who do can do remarkable things. Unfortunately, when too many people understand this then they start asking very... inconvenient questions about hidden variables inside of money, which threatens established power structures. Therefore, it's profitable to keep people stupid.

source: I made it up
Like I said, OP could just have healthier RBCs now and thus his A1C is raised. This isn't keto shit, this is a consideration printed on the test results.

I prescribe you weekly 48 hour fasts for the next 12 weeks. Good luck, anon, and don't binge on refeed.

Even most type 2 diabetes patients aren't "irreversibly damaged", stop fearmongering
